JMortensen
Here, kitty kitty kitty!
tannji
I have always been a "Cat Person".... and everything that cat radiates in attitude and stance says "clueless" to me. If that was a high dollar pet bird, I would be worried. As it is, I am thinking there is probably a blind kitty somewhere. Kinda hilarious and terrifying at the same time. We rescued a crow from a powerline accident once (big mistake, in retrospect) and the crow just about took over our house. Mean, demanding, and vocal. To make matters worse, it was smart as all hell, and took great delight in playing helpless and baiting our cats... which worked for longer than you would think. Usually, once a cat has had its ass handed to it by anything, there is a certain amount of respect the next time around. Two of our killers just wouldnt get it thru their heads that that crow was danger with an attitude. We never ended up taking any of the cats to the vet.... but it sure was messy for a few weeks. One of the cats ended up basically nervous for life.... probably a result of too many naps ending with a face full of crow.
DaleMX
They must know each other as neither the cat nor the eagle is in an aggressive or defensive posture. The cat is just strolling along and the bird’s pupils are not dilated. Dale
Guest bastaad525
Crows are awesome... Call me nuts but I've always wanted one, a human raised baby, not a wild one as a pet. They are VERY smart.
Guest 2slo4u
That cat's acting cool because he's going to eat that poor eagle for lunch. The eagle won't have a chance. He's in the kitty's territory now. Brian 81zxturbo 95slobaru
tannji
lol.... if a parrot looked at me the way that eagle is looking at the cat, I would watch my fingers.... That bird has to be either wild or in a recovery program, which come to think of it, is probably where the kitty is headed. As for crows being smart.... yeah, smart enough to put a household in complete turmoil, lets leave it at that. It was quite the celebratory day when that crow decided (with some urging) that he was healthy enough to rejoin his brethren.
wheelman
I call BS on that one, it has got to be photo-shopped. A mature bald Eagle is much bigger than that. They generally weigh between 12-15 pounds. I've personally seen one take a full grown Mallard duck and fly off with it. If that is a real picture then kitty is in very deep trouble and has no clue. Guest Aaron
Wheelman, I think it is real, or it is one of the best photoshops I have ever seen. Look at the reflection in the water on the rail. The eagle's and the cat's look correct.
dsommer
Looks real to me. Female eagles are lager than males. Now lets see here, if the cat jumps the eagle it looks as if the ground behind them is quite a drop (note the power line in the background). Last time I checked cats can't fly so I would give the advatage to the bird on this one. Cat claws are sharp, talons on the other hand, uh no thanks. 2126
I quess this kinda puts a new meaning to the phase.....I'm goin' to get me some pussy (Cat)!!! And if you really use your imagination, you can actually see the cat walking backwards! Come on, what other direction would a smart cat be going anyway!! Cody 82 ZXT
Having also been a cat person I would say that the two must know each other or something like that. The cat is not in the defensive mode or attack mode that it would need to take to have any chance against a bird such as that. One on One my money is on the bird. Chances are the cat would hall A** as soon as it could. Any of the cats that I've had knew when to fight and when to run. Only if cornered would any normal cat take a a bird like that.
