Did you read his post?

He says it ran 7.8 at holt with just zc motor and 75 shot.

It might be one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen but I'd drive it if it could run a consistant 7.8. (I just hope he is talking 1/4 mile. If 7.8- 1/8 mile then to hell with ever driving that junk.)

those CRX's can be really quick with very little work.

gutted CRX + Integra LS engine + shadetree turbo kit = mid 13 second quarter with a good driver.

No formal time tests have been made yet, but owner estimates 0-60 in about 2-2.5 seconds, 1/4 mile at 9.25 and 160 mph on about 1000 HP. It handles perfectly straight up to 130 mph - top speed so far. This car does NOT sit in the garage and look pretty. It drives around town and looks "surprisingly normal." That is, until the rear engine is fired up...

My nephew lives in Pensacola and is part of the SCC scene so I'll have to send him the link and ask about the car. He's mentioned the lack of a 1/4 mile track in the area several times so I would imagine tha the 7.8 is an 1/8 mile time. Considering the fact that mine turned 8.6 1/8 on the way to a 12.9@110 1/4, I would say that is a very respectable time.
