Chewievette
Well considering that the lines are fairly similar it would probably look pretty darn good! Awesome idea! Now, who's going to do it first?
Guest eric-z
You all think there might be hood clearence issues with the stock engine? Maybe it would be better for a v8 car. I do think it would look good though...
Trecani
Shelby Series 1 pic. That's the one, yes? I think it might look ok with a different air dam.
b__sosick
that's a sweet hood. DOO IT
Gollum
Hmm, clearance might be an issue. I can't picture it on a Z, so i can't really give an opinion.
280Zone
I have thought about this style prior to creating the SS style hood however I don't think the configuration of the engine and radiator allow enough room to make it look good IMO. DatsunATX
Look at blueovalz's profile and web site he did a similar hood on his kick a$$ Z. Ben
GOTHALOSISM
i'll try to photochop it onto a z, hope it comes out ok
Gollum
if it doesn't come out well, I'll try my hand at it monday. I'll have some time then... i think.
Mikelly
Keep in mind that blueoval removed his whole radiator core support and layed his radiator at an angle to allow clearance... Big difference than just bolting on a hood... The L6 motor and radiator in stock configuration simply won't work with a hood design like that, especially with that flex fan setup from the factory, and the other issues I mentioned...
