Last week I managed to tear the rear cover of my R230 on a launch at the track. I need to pull it off, weld/repair the cover and fabricate a girdle to support the rear on those clutch dumps. The tear is above the left mount bolt about an inch and runs diagnal top right to bottom left. From feel only since it is behind the mustache bar mostly. The rear mount bolts are still tight so I still feel that the cover just was not up to the task. I hope to have it apart this weekend and start the repair process.
