Guest ON3GO Posted February 4, 2006 Share Posted February 4, 2006 Hehe.. drove it today after bleeding the brakes and having to put in a new clutch master cylinder. car had no doors, no seats, no hood, no hatch, no tail lights, no interior but i took it around the block. if you know where my shop is, you'll see why this was insane. its right off the feeder road off the main highway in houston. pulled out right next to a C5 vette and let her ripped! it still has a miss and needs tons more of tuning but it was great! so i got in the back roads and just tooted around. backfiring around like mad (its dumped to the ground right by the tranny using a turn down!). man it felt great! my injectors i think are crap, so new ones im looking for. plus one wont stop leaking. my dizzy might be a problem but im not sure as of yet. carpet, seats, interior panels need to go in. tail lights and turn signals need to be done. body panels need to go on, then the fun starts! nitrous will be installed asap, alot with alot more tuning and then i hope some races! mike Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest ON3GO Posted February 5, 2006 Share Posted February 5, 2006 i think the miss is from a out of spec lose lifter.. ed told me it could be that and i searched and it seems it could very well be that, it does back fire alot and etc. carpet is sorta done, seats are in. im gonna fool with the msns tomorrow and see if i can help it out, im trying to get some bigger injectors right now, anybody have any??? mike Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It sounds so good when you get on it you can like feel the power in the sound. when i 1st got this Z running under turbo power all i ran was open downpipe for a long long time till my buddie chris on this site told me "your too loud, your pissing off my neighbors" hahaha.. good ole days! so i put exhaust on but with a cut out.. now i said screw it, right off the downpipe i have a turn down which is like 2inchs off the ground and man its loud!!!! i love it! mike Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
