violacleff
How is he making 500hp with that turbo?
Guest 73TPIZ
Here's a hundred or so HP right here from his list. "Nismo Oil Filler Cap" 2 stickers should put him over the 600 mark. lol Sweet car. Probably has 2 or 3 times of the starting price in the car. violacleff
Well Alex, It seems like that guy tried to sell it a while back, like immediately after he finished building it. I guess when it was all said in done, he missed the torque of an L motor, and realized the error of his ways LOL!!
Cal Poly Zmanaustin
It's definitely an amazing car. Sounds like he has a ton of money and time into it. Make me wonder why he is selling it. If you just finished building this amazing car would you sell it? Wonder why? Also, he talks about picking up the car since its so light. Why pick a 260 then? If he wanted a light car the 240 stripped of interior and bumpers would probably be 200lbs lighter. Great car, just some open questions. JMortensen
I thought John Coffey was building a 3 rotor RX7 for Amir, and he had already sold the 260 to a lawyer or something. Maybe John will give us the scoop.
SR240Z
amir bought the 260 back from the seller i think. and yes the 13b rx8 is almost completed. johnc
Nahhhh. Keep building and selling these things and eventually you'll have enough to buy Mumford's old Viper. It just sold (again) for $65,000. That car has sold three times in the last three years for the exact same amount.
olie05
john, what was the purpose of swapping a 13b into the rx8? what are the advantages over the renisis?
jsap
john, what was the purpose of swapping a 13b into the rx8? what are the advantages over the renisis? I am guess 13B can handle/make more power than the renisis engine. JIC magic has a 500+HP RX8, but it uses the 13B engine. I have not seen any RX8 with Renisis engine make more than 350HP yet.
