jdarkme
Hello everyone, my name is Edgar, I've been roaming the forum for a while and just thought I'd finally introduce myself. HybridZ is great and I've learned a lot just by searching. The Z bug bit me when I saw a 280z for sale at a junk yard, I had been searching for cheap sports cars that was rwd and I hadn't found one I liked until I saw the Z. I found my Z for sale on a fishing forum after pages and pages of google results. It is a 1972 240Z that is in pretty good condition rust wise with only surface rust on the floorboards and rust in the battery box. I'm really glad I found this website because I know it will help me once I start modifying my car. Right now I'm in college but I'm going home in two weeks so I'll have one week to finish it up and bring it back with me. Here's a link to my to a couple of pictures of my car. http://album.hybridz.org/showgallery.php?cat=

jt1
Welcome to HybridZ. That's a nice looking car. Fill us in on your plans. Everybody here has to have a plan. You can change it anytime, but you've got to have one. John
JMortensen
The floorboards look solid. Nice car. I like the silver.
veritech-z
posted by JT1: Everybody here has to have a plan That's true, you have to pick a major before you attend class. Also, it's imperative that you put cover sheets on all your TPS reports.
jdarkme
Thanks guys. I don't plan to upgrade the engine for a while mainly because of two reasons, the car is fast enough for me right now, it has an l28 (it's my first car and the only other car I've driven is a Volvo 740 so there is nothing faster to compare it to), and I'm broke so any money I get will go to the suspension department. I would like to start going to the autox or track events just to have some fun and get to know how the car handles. It has fairly new kyb shocks and new tires so I think I can enjoy it like that for a while, at least until I start upgrading it. I'm still not sure what I want to do once I feel the need for more power, but it will be a while before I have the money for that. jmortensen I really like how your car looks in your sig pic, when I saw the pictures of my car when it was on sale it reminded me of your car, of course not quite as cool. Thanks. If you had seen it in person it was really a 100/100 paint job (looks good at 100 feet as it passes at 100 mph), but I appreciate the compliment nonetheless.
