Guest jdmae92
I figured this would be the best place for this. I found this 79 280zx behind someones garage, I haven't talked to the owner yet, just his grandmother (he is married with kids). Its been sitting about 4 years. the paint and lights definatly have to go. What would you pay for it?
COZY Z COLE
If it's been sitting in OHIO for four years without a hood I'd ask him how much he'd pay ME to take it off his hands.... LARRY

Guest jdmae92
I talked to him today and he wants $200 for it. It was done to resemble a transformer z but the paint was done at maaco and it needs redone. It needs a clutch also.
veritech-z
But does it run?
Guest jdmae92
It should after i get it cleaned up and new fluids, the only thing wrong with it when parked was the clutch.
Ferd/289
the key issue with z cars IMO is rust. No rust or little rust, buy what the hey! Ferd

It going to be scrapped anyways so I'll let stuff go cheap. PM me if your interested, I'd love to help get a Z running.
