Guest Mike
Maybe the guy with the Ferrari should drop in an LS7:mrgreen:
Guest Crispy Chicken
Maybe the guy with the Ferrari should drop in an LS7:mrgreen: But dude he'd ruin a perfectly good ferrari by putting a domestic engine in it.
Guest Mike
Whether or not that would ruin it is a matter of opinion. A Ferrari is supposed to be FAST:flamedevi
Guest Crispy Chicken
But the smart car is hybrid powered by a suzuki hayabusa engine. It's all most cheating. The Ferrari 360 is like the fastest 249,000 dollar stock production car ever built.

cygnusx1
From now on I will be driving a toaster instead of an S30. Yeah Right!
Guest Mike
cygnusx1... As long as it's a TURBO CHARGED toaster, it's acceptible.
Gollum
I disagree that buying a ferrari is about being fast. Sure it's a part of the package, but there's something else about it no doubt. You don't buy a rolex because it keeps the best time in the world, you buy it becuase it's a status symbol. Almost any gearhead can put a car together to beat most production cars in a straight line. But building something that will be all around faster, AND as comfortable, AND as reliable as a ferarri would be hard to do. And I'm not against the LS7 swap idea, but that lovely sound... oOo man do ferrari's sound great.
Guest Mike
Yeah... I do love V12's.
olie05
But dude he'd ruin a perfectly good ferrari by putting a domestic engine in it. you mean an import engine. (to the ferrari at least)
roger280zx
The f430 is a V8, but it is still sweet.
Guest Mike
Why buy a Ferrari with anything except a V12?!
Alex_V
Was it just me or did the ferrari driver have a bad launch? But man he got whooped! Any one want to bet hes wondering about turboing? ~Alex
mario_82_ZXT
What's wrong with a 4.3l v8 that revs to ~8.5k rpms? Mario
dot
Why buy a Ferrari with anything except a V12?! You could swap one in... or would that be uncool.
Guest Mike
It wouldn't be uncool but it would probably cost as much to put a Ferrari V12 in a 360 as it would cost to just by a Ferrari with a factory V12.
grumpyvette
ID suspect the main problems NOT ther ferrari but the guy driving its skills
veritech-z
I'm with Grumpy: he got beat by about as much as he lost by sleeping on the line. I bet he was scared to launch it hard. Drive it like you stole it baby!
