Best opted Gearbox

Im doing my l28e Rebuild into a l28et and im trying to decided which gearbox to use.

my donar car is a 70 s130 280z. L28e factory manual. Low k's also.

The new build will be going into my 1985 R30 skyline with a l20et, Manual also. Im at the point as i dont know which would be a better gearbox to use. I find the l20et box has close ratios with 1st 2nd 3rd. And cruse at 100kmph at 3200rpm. (3.9diff)

Now i havnt driven the donar 280z as it wasnt running when i got it. (motor is being rebuilt) I dont know what the ratios are like on that box. Or which would be better suited for the torque and power curves that a l28et delivers

Re the LSD long nose thing - well I might have a few options for you now or in the future.

The now - I could sell you a locked spool that you install in the center to lock the two axles together PM me your email address and I will send to a pic and price.

The future - Once I get my new LSD (Torsen) setup I will be removing my R200 longnose 3.9 CLSD and putting that up for sale (to get some of the $$ back on the Torsen unit)

whooa quick. lol Never got a chance to read that. What did it go for in the end ?

What I paid for it years ago - so it will now be in the V8 powered 240z that races in Super GT's. I have know Greg for years and he usually runs welded diffs he had one CLSD but that was busted on the new Taupo track - very tight and with 500ft/p and 500ish HP it just tore the cage apart.
