cyrus
Trying to decide whether to sell the 1993 Rx-7. The 240z is staying as that is my favorite. The Rx-7 is a red R1 with 42k, super original. and is just an excellent example. The value is somewhere between $13k and $20k. Reasons to sell I just use it for rare weekend trips. I want the garage space back but know I will not be able to replace this car easily if I sell it. I always worry about the engines life. Reasons to keep I like just having it I have considered saving it for a Ls1 swap, But i have not finished the 240z. Too bad these have not skyrocketted like Supras... Any thoughts? JMortensen
If you're only using it for weekend trips, how likely is it that you're going to blow the engine? Seems to me like at the current rate of usage you can hang onto it and then drop the LS engine in at your leisure. The FD is one awesome car, and with yours being an R1, I'd hang onto it. Z-Gad
I'd say, offer it for sale at the high end of the scale if you are just considering selling it. If it does not get a serious buyer, then it is still yours to keep.
Mikelly
My stepson had one of these as well, sold it to his best friend, who is now trying to sell it with great difficulty. They are often drewled on, and seldom get what they are truly worth, due to their nitch clientel (Kinda like my MRoadster)... I'd put it up for sale and see if you get any takers... You'll be in the boat I'm in... if it sells, great!! If it doesn't, GREAT car to be stuck with!!! Mike
alexideways
I'll go with the familly here. Everything is for sale... if the price is right.
