Guest TwistyFriZ
im in kind of a rush, so sorry for the brief post. I was just scimming through www.bimmerforums.com (i have an e36 M3) and came across a few threads about getting Rota wheels in custom fitments. Here are links to two threads about this, as well as two different places that do it. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=656131 http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=600024 The Rota Specialists : first place i found... but one bimmerforums member(in one of the link) tried to go through them with no success http://www.therotaspecialist.com and http://www.18racing.com where the bimmerforums member actually got his group buy done. both places only require 5 people for a style/size/color and the prices seem to be reasonable Just thought it would be of some interest to everyone here... we all know how hard the search for wheels can be when you have a Z-Car -Brian
Mikelly
The widest wheel offered thru 18Racing was 8.5 inches... Most of those wheels on that site were in the 15inch range... Although there were about 6-8 wheels that were in the 17 inch range... Prices were really decent, but I'm not sure the offset would work for many here... I know I'm seriously stuck looking for something "inexpensive" in a 5 inch back spacing and 9-10 inches wide on a 17 inch wheel. Mike
Guest TwistyFriZ
Yeah, it's sad that they dont offer to many wider wheels.... but for those of us thinking on stock fenders, a lot of these could work out:) really only the J-Mags and D2s are getting my attention though
rudypoochris
Well just for kicks I found a wheel I liked and requested it in 17X9" with a -13 offset for our 114.3X4 pattern. I was going to go 16X9 but you just can't find tires for that size easily anymore. In anycase join me if you like! http://www.therotaspecialist.com/products.cfm?wheel_style=P45R My 16X8" rotas were $650 for the whole set, so expect a pretty decent deal if this does indeed take off. They also look really cool when the center is set deep inside and the spokes connect near the edge. A 255/40/17 is also pretty cheap for these... there are also decently priced 275/40's but those might rub the fenders, but if your flaring it, who cares! xxjoeyxxeb
I want to add my wheel under this request page. I've got an early 260z with Tokico struts and AZ car springs (not coilovers) I'm going to put on ZG Flares and cut the fenders. Is 17 x 9 with a -13 offset good so the wheel will fill out the ZG flares? Also, whats the HUB mean on the website? I don't know what size to put there. Thanks, Joe
