jkgts1
How did you get the wheels in Bronze? I bought the RB's and the guy sayed they did not come in Bronze. Did they offer different colors for RBR's and RB's? Thanks

RB26powered74zcar
Those look amazing Gabe!! Please take a bunch of step by step pics of yourself doing the cutting of the fenders. I know their are others out there, but I'd like to see some fresh ones from you, if possible. I've been putting off that same job. I have the ZG's on w/o cut fenders, but they need to be done properly.

jeffer949
Hey Gabe wheels look good. When you go to put on your flairs and are using the riv-nuts here is a good DIY riv-nut tool I found this week when i was replacing some on a motorcycle sub-frame. I didnt have a tool to crimp them properly when i did my zg's and i tried to weld them in place and well I suck at welding and they didnt turn out all that great. I wish I would of had the correct tool or the tool I made this week. It works so much nicer. I suggest using a thicker piece of scrap metal than he did but you get the idea. I used a nice 1"x4"x1/4" piece of steel. Make sure you get the hole the right size. Oh yeah you can get 6mm riv-nuts if you want to keep them metric which i like doing on my car and hate that i have 1/4 20 bolts on mine. Check out ebay for them. They seemed to have the best prices riv nut tool Edited March 23, 2010 by jeffer949
wigenOut-S30
Ahem. Tires? LOL.. Oops hehehe.. Sorry Drax.. I have old used tires on there right now they are.. out back 255-40R17s.. up front.. drivers side is a 235-45R17 and passenger is a 245-45R17. I hope to get tires next week. I will be going with 275-40R17s out back and 245-45R17s up front.. Tire heights are as follows.. 275-40R17 = 10.8 wide and 25.66 Tall Rears 245-45R17 = 9.64 wide and 25.68 tall Front 245-40R17 = 9.64 wide and 24.71 tall Front 255-40R17 = 10.03 wide and 25.03 tall Front I am a little on the fence with going to a 245-40 or a 245-45 for the front. It seems that the 255-40's are a little wider and seem to be a problem rubbing on things. jeff, Thanks man! yeah Austin is going to let me use his rivnut tool. I cant wait to get the flares on the Z!.. I painted my tail light panel last night and will put it back together tonight and snap some pics. wigenOut-S30
Ok more updates. The wheels are wider then my old ones and when you turn right to opposite lock the right wheel was going into my wheel well I made. Soo I had to cut a triangle out of it and weld in new metal. I have it seam sealed and will paint it tonight. Also while my Z is down I took my tail light panels apart and painted them Satin black. I think they turned out pretty good! TheMission
Are those ZG's from MSA? Let me know what you think about the fitment/quality. I'm also game to see your install as well, as another install thread just for a different perspective on the same thing is always good.
