1sick72z Posted February 23, 2008 Author Share Posted February 23, 2008 o.k.. so today took the valve cover off and checked for any stamps or markings to see if it was an aftermarket cam or not... the markings on the end firewall side had a "A" marking and some small numbers on it not sure what numbers can't tell.. then it says "DEL......." 1sick72z Posted February 23, 2008 Author Share Posted February 23, 2008 i'm just wondering if i have an aftermarket cam or not because one of the worksheets in the glove compartment said "non stock cam" and "fix timing". i'm just wondering if it still has the cam or not... i'll check again tomorrow... It would be the fastest way to know if the lift was changed. maybe that's the easiest way because theres' no way i can see the marking unless i take the camshaft out... i'll borrow my school's dial caliper and measure it on the weekdays..
