plexus Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 i think only the autos were r180s, that should be an r200 in yours. theres a sticky in the drivetrain section.Differential / CV / LSD / HP / Torque / R160 / R180 / R200 / R230 / Diff Mount i read that for the 280zx's they all had/have the r200. autos had a different gear ratio. the r180s where for the s30's and when the chasis changed to the zx so did the rearend to the r200. however i dont remember where i read this though, it was a while ago when i was woundering what rear end i had in my 280zx. i could be wrong or misinformed. Also in the new WRX STiLongnose R200 -weight 76 lbs - Came in 260Z 2+2, 280Z manual, 75-76 automatic and 2+2, S130, Z31, 200SXT Here this might clear some stuff up Looks like if it's an auto then it's R180 other wise it should be a R200 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
