Rockr69
Hey all. My driver front hub is cratered. The outside bearing siezed, spun the race and subsequently ruined the hub. My car is a 76 280z. Does any one know where to get another or does anyone have a spare they would sell me? I found a local import repair shop that could order one of 6 they found, but it's a 100 bucks after shipping and tax with no gaurantee of quality prior to shipping. Can anyone help? RedNeckZ
If you were here in NC, I could give you a set. I have a few sets in the garage. I would recommend replacing the bearing and races. But I have both the 240Z model and 280Z model hubs w/rotors. If you can not find any closer contact me and we can work something out. Good Luck, Rich. Rockr69
Sorry about posting in the wrong forum, my bad. I was asking for information though. I'll remember to post in parts wanted next time I need a part.
blueovalz
I've seen this happen several times, but each of the times I witnessed this, the inner outside race ended up bonding to the spindle rather than the hub. Lucky you. All you'll need is the hub and not the strut.
