nismopick
Check the TPS and timing.
islanddozer
Getting fuel to rail ? Checked spark at plugs ? Power to coil ?
RigilKent
if it runs and idles i would say that the fuel and spark is ok but i would have to go with nismopick and say that its throttle position sensor or timing
woldson
What dose it do at 2500? and above?
HowlerMonkey
That would be the computer not seeing either tps or air flow meter.
KunoZ
Computer can run with out the tps unplug it and see if it helps. Most def. check your timing too. And as for fuel pressure are you getting enough?? If Im correct I think you have to have about 34psi. And one more thing. How well is it running at idle?? Is it a smooth idle?? AK-Z
Had the same problem. Check the AFM
HowlerMonkey
Also check the wiring diagram to see if they share the same 5 volt reference voltage circuit. Even newer obdII cars will throw a code for a tps when the real problem is the map or mass air flow sensor for the very reason that they share the ref. voltage circuit. Very common in jeep 4.0 liters.

ben280zx
Sound great, I'm glad you got that sorted out. Maybe I should clean and tie down most of my connection.
