evergreenZ
I want to get 16x8 wheels but I do not know what offset I need. I think I need +0mm of +10mm but I am not sure. I want to run 225/50-16 tires. What offset would I need If I went with 15x8 instead? Thank You
260zShooter
That should work.

Brad-ManQ45
+10 at least...may need to roll wheelwell lips.
jt1
My 16x8's, which are 8'' inside bead to inside bead, are 5" backspacing, or a -12 offset. They will not clear the standard springs, you've got to run coilovers. I can run most 245/45/16 tires, with the rear lips rolled. jt
Forrest
On my (lowered) 76, fronts clear the lips fine with 16x8 225/50 0 offset, but the rears get cut by the fenders. Once rolled, they are fine. I would say you need between a +6 to+10, but if +12 creates clearance issues on the inside, I can't guarantee that won't happen to you with +10. On the upside, if you have slightly too much + offset, you can run thin spacers, but if you don't have enough, you're just screwed (get to rolling). evergreenZ
Thanks for the help. I already have coilovers so I think I am going to be okay with the +10 offset.
jmak
lol we're running on 15x8 -30mm offset with 205/50/15 tires. haha hella deep dish. planning on lowering but we're looking around for good coilover setup. heres pix.
auxilary
that's not hte right way of measuring depth though, because you're measuring from the spoke. put a flat board on back side of hte rim, and measure the distance between the board and the surface that's going flat against the hub, and that's your backspacing
