B00STDZ
I have taken apart my 240sx throttle body for cleaning and cannot figure out how it goes back together. I have checked service manuals, shop manuals, google, everything but cannot find anything that has a 240sx throttle body diagram to show how it goes back together. Anyone know how it goes back together or can provide some detailed pictures of an assembled unit?
zcarnut
I took this series of photos I took when I disassembled one. I apologize for the poor quality of some of the pics (Note: I still need to add two pictures to the album): http://forums.hybridz.org/album.php?albumid=

Yeah, but why would the throttle mechanism be any different? I‘ve got a box of various 240SX and Hardbody throttle bodies and the throttle opener parts are very similar, if not the same. The big difference is whether or not you have cruise control cable parts.
B00STDZ
The throttlebody I have has the cruise control assembly..

B00STDZ
http://www.240edge.com/manuals/usdm-cars.html As I've said previously I have already checked service manuals/ shop manuals etc... to find nothing about the throttle body assembly... FlatBlack
These are all the pictures I have on the photo dump, hope it helps. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh81/flatblack280/Shaved%20Intake/100_2454.jpg http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh81/flatblack280/Shaved%20Intake/100_2431.jpg This one is blurry and probably won't help, but here it is: http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh81/flatblack280/Shaved%20Intake/100_2449.jpg I'm going to the shop today to take some pics of all the extra turbo parts I'm selling, I'll take some up close pictures of my TB. B00STDZ
Again as I said before, You have a top cooled, mine is a bottum cooled DOHC ka24de throttle body. The throttle assembly appears different.... The parts in the picture I posted is what I have... FlatBlack
Sorry I couldn't help. Well, I took some more pictures anyway if you need them PM me I know at least those two flat circular pieces with the tabs sticking out are for the Throttle stop, and are mounted closest to the TB
B00STDZ
Well thats what I originally thought but I have tried every way possible and it just doesnt match up with the throttle stop! In this picture it appears one is on the far end... but then again... mine is bottom cooled and the spring setup is different. I have two medium sized green springs and 1 silver small spring, all the SAME DIAMETER. It appears with the top cooled there are two springs with different diameters... FlatBlack
Take a look at these, anyways. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh81/flatblack280/Turbo%20for%20sale%20items/IMG_0045.jpg http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh81/flatblack280/Turbo%20for%20sale%20items/IMG_0046.jpg IIRC mine had cruise control and I took it off. The longer flat piece is the throttle stop on mine. You can see it in the pictures.
DeleriousZ
FWIW, you could probably grab another tb from an earlier nissan Stanza. They are equipped with said bottom-coolant-piping 60mm throttle body. Bust out some madhaus reverse engineering and you'll be set.
B00STDZ
No one has a bottum cooled ka24de throttle body?
sweetleaf
Did you put the throttle plate in correctly?
