turboHLS30
Yea i agree you look like you just came straight out of a WWII movie or maybe even the actual war LOL
at-jefft
I get the Star wars references, but I don't get the costume(looks cool regardless though) The first thing that came to mind was bioshock.
auxilary
Steam punk is a trend based on what science fiction would look like in Jules Verne's era, ie. victorian. For example, steam punk ghostbusters: think lots of steam, gear cogs, brass, etc. What I did was "cheap" compared to the other stuff. So my costume was essentially what I thought a storm trooper would look like around 1900AD
at-jefft
Ahh, It didn't hit me at first that you combined steampunk and storm troopers. Very creative, nice work.
PanzerAce
I would say you forgot the cost of the Mosin stock, but those are a dime a dozen anyways nice costume.
johnc
Ding-dong. Door opens. Aux shouts, "Trick or treat." 80 year old lady falls over dead and her little poodle craps all over the floor.
auxilary
John, you just described the dream I had! Panzer: haha yeah, nice catch on hte mosin stock - I got the whole gun for 25 bucks (parts, mainly for the bolt and pin/spring) but the stock was already cut down and modified. FIgured I might as well put it to use
PanzerAce
Lol. I was actually cleaning my 91/30 yesterday (LE GASP! CLEANING? A MOSIN?), so it was fresh in my mind. Plus, the magwell is pretty distinctive And I have to know now, how did you manage to break a mosin so that you needed a new bolt?
280zNHChris
I thought you were a pyro from team fortress II
big-phil
I want to party with this cowboy!
auxilary
I didn't break a mosin - I just wanted spare parts. $25 for a rifle with all parts is a good deal ANd you SHOULD clean your mosin, unless you're using non corrosive ammo. Mine gets cleaned every outing (I have 4)
PanzerAce
It was getting cleaned after an outing (of which I haven't had many. Stupid work)
