Tanuki
ok here is a pic of the motor all tucked away into the garage, or um tent! Also the car gave up the ghost I guess today? Won't turn over and the gas cap has gone missing? Really weird.

Tanuki
here are a few inspirational pics: I decided that for the size of project this is becoming I needed to get something to haul the car/ parts around. SO... I got this for the sole purpose of using it for the z project: 1993 Ford E350 V8 Tow Rated between 7 and 10000 lbs (This is the range I have found reported online) Also the interior already doesn't exist so I don't have to strip it. Biggest downfall: This thing is huge! here is a quick mock up of the direction this van is going:

Tanuki
Finally decided to open up the motor and see what kind of shape it's in. Looks to be good aesthetically, but that really doesn't mean a lot.
ZT-R
cut harness or is that something we dont need?
linluv84
Looks like the wiring from the white plug to the dash and other accessory stuff...
Ricky Ricer
Cut wires are no good, but replacement harnesses can be found for fairly cheap. Looks to be pretty low mileage from the pictures though. The intake manifold is not chipping away as bad as mine. But hey, that's what powder coating is for! Nissan used a different process on the r33 plenum, that's why his still looks good. I guess that's why the r34 came w/o a black coating... I guess that's why the r34 came w/o a black coating... That's kind of what I figured. Like the older Version 3 and Version 4 Subaru WRX STIs. The version 3 crinkle red finish chipped horribly. linluv84
What I meant was those wires are ok to be cut. If you look closely, you'll see that the cut wires are coming off the back side of a connector. His harness looks to be intact...
Tanuki
^They are all body harness parts I'm sure. All of the body parts came today!!!! Finally! So Saturday I will pull the motor and cut the fenders up so that it will be ready to paint next week.
