voltron_boi
On may 11, 2009 I had pick up a white 1974 260z in Hercules, California from a guy name Paul. Sadly, if only i got to him few days quicker, I would of got another green 260z from him for the price of $1800 for both cars. So instead, he had sold the green z and I decide to buy the white 260 for $1600. At that time the car wasn't running because it had a blown head gasket. I mainly bought the 260z because of the condition it's in. Their was only one rust spot on the battery tray and everything elsewhere were in good condition like how it came out from factory. voltron_boi
On her way home from Hercules to merced, ca July 2009 Got bored over the summer so I decide to took out the motor from the 260. September 2010 For 1 year n 4 months the 260 have been seating inside of my parents garage collecting dust, while i been collecting and buying parts for the rb. i finally made a decision to tow the car from merced to sacramento, since this semester I'm taking a break from school and will have lots of free time. So with all those spare time, I decide to begin my dream project. Rb25 260z with  rb26 twin turbos. Edited September 14, 2010 by voltron_boi
voltron_boi
September 4-6 2010 Saturday early morning i woke up and started to sand down my engine bay and the rusted battery tray. It seem like the rust have ate through the metal chassis underneath the battery tray. So we decide to cut out the rusty metal part and weld a new sheet metal into the car. Thursday september 9, 2010  I went to the paint store right after work and bought 1 qt of primer to shoot into the engine bay. Before After September 10-11 2010 I woke up early morning and decide to take off my front cross member, steering rack and all the front suspension off and paint the parts. After installing back the cross member, steering rack, and sway bar, I went on and install my ground control coilovers kit that I bought for $250 from a reck 1972 240z, that got front end. I got it so cheap because the tech guy didn't have any clue how much these stuff goes for, so that day I got very lucky. voltron_boi
Nov. 22 , 2010 For a month wait, finally my act clutch kit and flywheel had finally arrive from thmotorsports. The act kit is for the rb25, which came with pressure plate part#NO13, 6 puck spring part#6240306, alignment tool part#AT01, and a fidanza flywheel for the rb20. I know that the 300zx na will work to but it was a little too expensive so that's why I decide to wait instead. -Act heavy duty(HD) part#NS3-HDG6 $293.98 -Aluminum fidanza 9.5 lbs flywheel part#143341 $338.

getoffmyinternet
That seems like a pretty good price on such a light fly! How does the rb20 work with the rb25? I'm wondering why it is lighter than the one they sell specifically for the rb25. I'll also be curious how the 6-puck clutch drives, I currently have a milder act clutch (300zx). I'm wondering why it is lighter than the one they sell specifically for the rb25. I'll also be curious how the 6-puck clutch drives, I currently have a milder act clutch (300zx). Actually I wanted the rb25 because it's about 12lbs and the rb20 at 9lbs. They cost the same where I order the flywheel, but for the waiting time for the rb25 was so long, that I finally gave up and went with the rb20 instead. I decide to go with the 20 because I was asking 240zmaster how it perform. He mention it went will and their wasn't any chatter noise involve. As for as the 6 puck goes. I used to run these on my Hondas and it grabs good with the act pressure plate. Also i install the 6 sprug onto my 280z with the l28et swap and the performance went good. I'll keep you updated on how this clutch turns out, once the car see the streets lol.
