The pillar pod mount is really a *****. Although there are a lot of similarities in making patterns for castings and making patterns for vacuum forming there are some key differences. Also I've been at this long enough to know that pre-production is where projects succeed or fail. Even as accurate as my mockup is it's still a bit of a crap shoot as to whether or not I have them in the right spot. When I get more comfortable with the design there will be progress but it's really sluggish right now.
