ZT-R
What do you mean you could barely break loose in 2nd on an open diff? I have 17x11.5 wheels and kuhmo xs extremes (sticky) and i can slide her out in 3rd at 1 bar with a decent tune but not optimized.

datsun dave
You get her up and going on the dyno yet? Not yet still waiting for some Apexi air filter to turn up from USA imported from a Apexi dealer here in the UK as the 2 other that I bought from eBay were fakes. datsun dave
Ok the Apexi air filters have turned up, after cutting up and rewelding the alloy bends i got them to fit inside the Z engine bay, had a oil catch tank made to my sizes and thats now fitted, the original centre consol now back inside the car after some mods to move it forward so i can get 1-2-5 gears. Bought a Skyline R33 GTR tacho and will make it fit into original Z tacho pod, the Auto sparky is 99.9% finished he just has to tidy a few bits he has made a new wiring loom/fuse board that runs the fuel pumps/electric power steering and the Kenlowe electric fan and sits behind the drivers seat and it will be covered by the original plastic covers Should be up and running this time next month as working away in Ireland then off on my hols. No its down to the Auto sparky to finish it all off (1/2 day max) just been chasing him to get it all sorted this week so we can get it started, also have bought a R33 GTR dash clock set and have removed the rev counter and fitted it inside my 240z clocks. Apexi airfilters have turned up and are now fitted with a bit of cutting and shutting the alloy brackets.

datsun dave
Looks good, I have a R34 cluster in my kitchen (yea i know, you can tell im single), but never used it. Was going to buy a Apexi tachometer but the Skyline cluster cost me a £1.00 (around $1.50 USD) on eBay I never leave any bits in the kitchen as the wife would go mad at me!!!! ZT-R
No man, just hook the temp gauge up to the oven.... Its shake and bake time, and I helped... Cant wait to see it on the dyno, Im trying to hold off the the borg warner efr turbo and a full race manifold, but it looks like I too will end up with the 2860-5s. ZT-R
If your not running the resistors you need to power the injectors. Tie all the 6 of the red/x stripe wires together and hook to power.. No biggy. Cant wait to see it run.

datsun dave
Car was going on the dyne today but had a problem with the engine only running on 5 cylinders when it's warm turned out to be a ignitor that sits on the coil pack cover so i will have to find a good used part as Nissan no longer sells them. stony
Dave, I moved mine to the firewall. i had the exact same problem with mine and when we blew cold air on it the 6th cylinder would come back. basically just extended the harness about 12 inches and mounted it on the firewall on the intake side of the engine away from the heat. It was a temp fix but have not had a problem with it since.
