ZT-R
I swapped mine out for a infinity J30 one just for availability. I am buying Okada plasma direct coils and rewiring so i will totally get rid of the external ignitor. Good luck on the dyno keep us posted. ZT-R
Its easy, ECU straight to coils, but if you buy them for the R33 the wiring harness adapter comes with it. (about 100 bux more than r34 for that reason). Edited August 27, 2012 by ZT-R

datsun dave
Waiting for a few bits to land here in the UK so have changed the rear turbo air intake set up as i was using the original RB26 set up but had to cut it down to make it fit, i was not happy with the bend and it would have caused problems with the air intake.. So have made up a new part. Edited September 7, 2012 by datsun dave

So have made up a new part. Fabbing an enclosed air box to isolate heat from the filter would be a nice addition. You could even induce outside cooler air via the inspection lid with either louvers or a cable system that would open it manually or with a servo motor driven by vac signal. ZT-R
At any speed you probably will not get cooler air to the back by the inspection lid. These are hot motors and all that air is going to be flowing out of his vented lids at speeds.
PMC raceengines
That is the hotest spot in the engine bay not a good spot for a air cleaner at all . I had to fit heat shelds there to stop the paint coming off ,
