  1. I worked with laminated glass, plate glass / mirror and plastics for 30yrs until I became a disabled Vet. My experience tought me how to stop a 'run' in glass and lexan / plexi glass by drilling a tiny hole at the very end of the 'run', crack, so that when it continues to run, it will have to stop at the tiny drilled hole. Use the smallest drill bit you can find. If you'd rather not test yourself by drilling a hole, you can hope it does not "run" any farther by just barely tightening that fastener where it's cracked putting least amount of pressure on that area. EDIT: Sorry for repeating what you said above Svt40.
  2. I'd like to get mine powder coated instead of painted. Can you send mine raw? Thanks ~joel
  3. Second pic shows some metal being, maybe hammered out in the wheel well. Last pic shows slight front end damage from a wreck. If that's the worst of the damage, it looks repairable....
  4. It would be very helpful for you to acquire a Service Manual. It should show all the harness routing. Sorry, that's all I can offer for help...
  5. I would be a little more suspicious of the area below the battery box, since it was rusted out. I'd scrape that rail / tension box area to bare metal to be sure it's not rusted through...
  6. The only way is to have SuperDan do it, and you have to have a pretty good reason why.... Good luck!
  7. Believe it or not, I get the same error if I try to "like" something
  8. Holy badass ride!!! What are you barking 4th gear @ 90mph in.......
  9. I think this would be a better choice over the one you are showing.... http://www.ebay.ca/itm/XTD-STAGE-3-CLUTCH-13LBS-FLYWHEEL-KIT-FITS-NISSAN-RB20DET-RB25DET-SKYLINE-/381936791855?hash=item58ed34f12f:m:mRLR9WdbgLAlJGoJ3x-caTA&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.TRS5&_nkw=XTD%C2%AE+CLUTCH+KIT+FITS+NISSAN+280Z&_sacat=0
  10. Also, would you please reveal the model / part # of those fine vents. http://trackspecmotorsports.com/ Thank ya
  11. Argument removed . Please take personal beefs to email.
  12. Nice!! Love the wheels, and especially the car color. Mine is the same color
  13. $200 sent via paypal. Thanks again for offering a fine product ! ~ joel
  14. AUTO SERVICE was all I could find, name wise Check out the quality build on the latest HKS time attack offering http://www.speedhunters.com/2017/01/hks-gts800-the-tsukuba-record-challenger/
  15. Miles, Thanks for showing good "getting started" links, that guides the new Z owner where to begin researching. I will Pin this thread so members can add more info to help the beginners ...
  16. Well that's great news for the L6 crowd!! I can't hardly wait to put a T56 Magnum behind my RB
  17. Good deal Tim! I'm watching this thread and will follow your lead (except for the QuickTime bell difference ). Do you mind revealing your plans on which model trans you'll be acquiring ( used / new / etc.)? Thanks Tim...
  18. Good read on the T56 Magnum / 6060 http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/transmission/1505-tremecs-t-56-magnum-uses-tr-6060-guts-to-nearly-double-torque-capacity/
  19. Sorry to say, but it looks like detonation damage to me on the piston tops.
  20. That is about what I paid. I chose a later model ( r34 ) but either model will fit the RB motor. I don't think a L28 will bolt directly to a RB gear box without modification.
  21. Posts un hidden. I was just removing guessing post. Did not mean to confuse anyone
  22. You will have to email RHDjapan to check availability. I paid close to $1,500.00 for mine delivered from Japan. Here is the RHD link to get you started >> http://www.rhdjapan.com/
  23. I def don't need a trans, as I bought a brand new RB25det Neo 5spd from Japan, and have only drove it less than 100 miles, but I have an itch to put a T56 close ratio behind my rb26. I need more studying to know what model T56 to buy, and if I can continue to use the HKS duel plate clutch/flywheel I'm now using with the RB trans.
