  2. I have been told that they are the only Devendorf flares left. But I just had the car painted, and would not want to damage the paint pulling molds. When Jack designed and built these cars he purposedly built the Whale Tails wider to compensate for the flares. The double wing whale tail that goes with the car is fully 10 inches wider than the Tail that I bought from MSA that's shown in the above photos. Below is a picture of Primadonna #1 is shown with the standard whale tail that Jack built. Not only was it built to be wider, but was also built as a low profile, and moved rearward.

  5. Here are some more angles. This may not help much because I put the other wheels on... so every thing is different. Any thoughts on the wheels?
  6. Not a great picture of the operation, but you get the idea. Here's and old picture before the restoration.
  7. For reference, here's the car with the Big rear wing. Does one seem more appropriate than another?
  8. I have had a different deck lid with the standard MSA whaletail painted for the Primadonna for some time now. I have just never got around to mounting it. Well this weekend was the "Festival of Speed" here in St. Petersburg and I thought is was as good a time as any for a personality change. Fun thing is, about 10 minutes and 6 bolts, it's a different car.
  9. Nice to see that you have your priorities in order!
  10. Damn!! I'm impressed, you're a regular 1 man myth buster!
  11. FYI Been searching for the clutch fork boot for the custom cast Scarab bellhousing. Finally found it thru Partsvoice.com. The boot was made for a 62-67 Nova. The service was easy to use and I would recommend it for any hard to find parts. Hope this helps someone!
  12. I must admit to being a Station Wagon kind of guy. My daily driver is an all black 95 Caprice Wagon with the LT1, and all of the Impala SS treatment. It runs well, is different, and hauls a bunch of stuff that I am constantly needing. But for the life of me I can't figure out what this guy was thinking. With the engine placement, I can't imagine getting anthing in the back. http://www.supercars.net/PD?displayPotd=y&back=2
  13. The distorition is because I took a picture of the photograph to post. Just the angle that I had to shoot it so I did'nt get alot of glare.
  14. Wirk?? Actually my neighbor brought home a set yesterday. They certainly are substancial, very tall too.
  15. Pretty neat...been posted before. It's a regular on e-bay, in fact it's on there right now.
  16. Hi Guys, I don't know if this is prevelant around the country, but at some of the shows down here there is a company the shoots the entrants cars as they come in for the show. This vendor has the ability onsite to take the photo and photoshop it onto a background (about 6 available). It's then offered in poster form, or as I got mine, matted and mounted in a black 16x24 frame ($79.00). Pretty neat opportunity, and ready in an hour.
  17. Thanks for the input. The guy wanted to give it to me, and I thought that I may be able to use it incase of emergency. But with all the cars I have now, and the associated pats + junk. I didn't really need more to store. That said, I think I'll go ahead and get it and do some more research.
  18. Very cool video! I particularly like the camera in the footwell showing the heel/toe action. I have a Manta Mirage (McLaren M6 replica) with a potent SBC midship. Now that the Primadonna's done, I need to get back to work finishing it up.
  19. Well......Welcome to Florida!
  20. Found this rear end at the scrap yard yesterday. Look familiar to anyone? Any casting numbers that I should be looking for to further identify? Thanks for the help. Roger
