  1. Ferrari happens to be a guys last name. A guy that spent his life, and billions developing an automobile company. So proud of the quality of his product that he signed each and every car with his name. I don't have a problem understanding why Ferrari is a little upset, or the Italian goverment for that matter. I'm sure that the commerce generated by Ferrari to the Italian goverment is staggering. Ferrari aside. How would you like it if someone took a ♥♥♥♥ box Vega of the 80's, 4 cylinder American POS, and put your name all over it. That's not even considering some lousey fiberglass body work, and an idiot behind the wheel in plaid pants, and fake rubber bally loafers. It's a package deal! Ferrari probably remembers the last time someone did that....The Zimmer Quicksilver. Take a fiero, graft a bumper off of a 50's Mercury on the front and call it done. That turd is still floating in the pool! That said... would'nt it be cool to have one of the well executed Corvette based Daytona Spyders?
  2. Here's my winter shot. It's the closest thing that even looks like snow, that I have.
  3. I used to live in Indianapolis and spent most of the month of may at the track. One year I was parking in the drivers parking lot next to gasoline alley, and parked next to a couple year old Gurney Eagle Indy car. I got out and was looking at the car and noticed it had license plates on it. I was looking at how they had made this street legal when a guy walked up and we started talking. He was with one of the teams and had built the thing for fun. We pulled the engine cover off, and he had a pair of Kawasaki H2 motors in it. These were the 2 stroke triple cylinder engines with a hair trigger power band. These engines coupled with a poor handleing bike were affectionately known as "kid killers" in the day. He was running Goodyear rains on all 4 corners but indicated that extreme care had to be taken, particularly anywhere near the power band. When these engines hit the powerband it was about as subtle as a stick of dynamite going off. Ive always wondered what happened to the car.
  4. We had dinner Sat. night at Mahogany, Outsanding! Sunday night we had dinner at the Brasserie, Exceptional! We'll be heading to the Summitt Club later on for dinner tonight. I understand that it's on the 35th floor downtown, overlooking the city. Should be interesting.
  5. I have reservations for Mahogany Steak House tomorrow night. I wanted to get into the Summitt Club on Monday night, but it's private and no luck yet. I also heard the Polo Grill was very good.
  6. How about a picture of your wheels?
  7. Just in case somebody in my party ask's:icon56:...What should i tell them? Thanks for the recomendations! R.
  8. I have a meeting in Tulsa this weekend. I'm looking for the some fine dining ideas. Rog
  9. I saw the video with the sound off. But from the licence plate I figured it was choking on a vette.
  10. "Unlimited supply of matching paint" There's a deal cincher!!!
  11. Damn Paul, Those look wider than mine! What size are they?
  12. 9 years old (maybe 10), and going strong! Red Top Time permiting 2 or 3 times a week I'll go out for a short rip. I have a battery disconnect so unless I'm driving the battery is isolated. Yellow top This weekend took my Trans Am out of storage to run it, and change the fuel out. This car has not been started in 8 mos. , and I turned on the battery disconnect, hit the key , and it started up (had to crank a bit though). If you're not using it disconnect it.
  13. Sure looks to me that the wire under the washers is part of their instalation design. To lazy to do it right, and no pride! Makes you wonder what other shortcuts they took? Damn shame
  14. Save yourself a lot of grief, spend the extra dough and buy a Texas Rollback. You'll be glad you did. http://www.texasrollback.net/ No ramps (and/or extensions) to fool with, or loose. The wheels and fenders are out of the way during load/unload so your not banging your doors. There are just so many good reasons.
  15. Here's some pics of a body kit. The molds were pulled from one of Frank Leary's race cars in the late 70's. This is the only car that benefited from the molds. It has not been on the road since 1982.
  16. From the first picture, it appears that there is some bondo in the front fender. Hence the break in the body work.
  17. I ran across this on e-bay. It was in a group of 10 misc. key chains. I had to buy all of them to get this one. But for $5 bucks for all of them I didn't mind.
  18. What bulbs are you using in the pictures? Any update on LED's that work/fit well?
  19. For any one interested, here are pictures of the BBS cooling fan inserts. the bolt directly to the inside of the wheel. For anyone that was at the Nationals this year, and saw my trailer, I have a couple of these screwed to the wall for decoration. Here's an early (25 years ago) picture of the Primadonna with the cooling fans installed. I don't find them to be flattering to the appearance of the car. Besides that, I catch enough Sh*% about rice as it is.
