  1. Go get the Rota's for your car. They makes the zx look hot!
  2. Lol, posted this in the wrong section. If an admin spot this, please move it to the "engine components" section.
  3. The old rusty header that was on my 280z when I bought it now needs a replacement. What's the best header I can buy, and where? Is the Stahl header that MSA sells any good? What about the Monza, MSA or Motorsport? I'm building the rest of the exhaust myself. Thinking 3" stainless steel with an open 4" muffler. I want it loud! Or should I go for a 2,5" system?
  4. Do you have more pics of this ride? Looks great!
  5. Hello, as the title say: How many S30's are built in total? Can't find any info on Wikipedia.
  6. Ordered the SEM stuff needed from ebay now. Hope this would work, looks great though.
  7. Hello! Does anyone know if the front and rear spindles of a 1976 260z 2+2 would fit my 77 280z coupe? There's a guy parting out his car and I need a complete set of used spindles for a coilover conversion, and I want to keep the original parts;) Thank's Hans
  8. Hello, I need a complete set of front and rear spindles for my 77 280z, and someone have replied to me that they have 240 and 260 spindles that I can buy. So, are the front and rear spindles the same on all S30's, 240, 260 and 280z? What about 280zx? Hans
  9. Yep it looks doable, worth a try. If it doesen't fit, the flares is a easy and quick mod.
  10. Hello, I need a complete set of front and rear spindles for my 77 280z as I'm going to do a coilover conversion and I want to keep the original parts. If you're parting out a car, got spindles in your garage or can help me out in an another way, please respond in this thread or PM me! The parts that I have painted a red circle around is what I'm looking for;)
  11. Thanks for pics junglist and JustinOlson, and thanks for the link flatblack280;) After reading the "LS3 build thread. Z-VETTE" thread I think it would fit nicely with a lot less tire. I know a lot of you americans love more meat on the rims, but as a eurostance guy i prefer more rim, less tire;) 225/35 and 215/35 would do the job. This golf looks similar to my VR6 golf and I think this is the right stance for a car. We've also fitted 205/35-16 on a 9x16 inch rim and that looked insane;)
  12. Thanks! Yeps, they're on the car! It's some 80's DeLorean "Back to the future" cyclone or turbine looking wheels, more than that I don't now;)
  13. Thanks, I'm not sure if I want to cut the fenders, but I'll se. If there is rust there, I will, if not I will will fit 16x8's. I'm not in for a Gnose because I want the car to look mostly stock with some minor mods;) The Gnose looks good though! Have a great time with it you too!
  14. Bumping this thread as I'm in need for some answers. I'm in search for some wheels that would fit my 77 280z well. Largest (16 or 17) and widest possible with coilovers without flares and metal cutting. Rolling fenders would be ok. After watching some vids of a beutiful japanese S30, I would like to copy him. See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EKuXCTq4Hc&feature=related He's running Watanabe R-types right? After looking at some pics of people running 16x8 offset 0, I may conclude that he's running 16x8,5 offset -6 front and 16x9 offset -13 rear, because the rear lip is wider than front? Or could it be 16x8 0 front and 16x8,5 -6 rear? Just see S30TRBO's post: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/88219-for-the-guys-running-16s-and-wide-tire-help-please/page__p__840157__hl__watanabe%2016%2085__fromsearch__1entry840157
  15. I'm thinking negative camber, 215/35-17 on the 17x9 and 225/35-17 on the 17x9,5 (lots of stretch). I know it's not 100% usable, but none of my other cars are;)
  16. Hi all, have anyone tried fitting 17x9 offset -13 front and 17x9,5 offset -19 rear with flares without cutting the fenders? I sure love the look with flares and wide, large rims, but I don't want to cut any metal. I'm thinking of fitting coilovers, and have it set on the stiffest setting. In this pic from the "post pics of your wheels" thread, he has Rota RB-R 17x8.5 with +4 offset, and that sure have some space before it rubs. Maybe with less tyre?
  17. That would be nice! They're kinda rare in Europe;)
