  1. My thought EXACTLY! Ever shince 9-11, it's almost as if there's a conspiracy. Since 2001, they have had only 1 season where they won less than ten games, and won 3 superbowls. I think some sort of collusion has been happening. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nwe/ Not getting political, but after the worst terrorist attack on US soil, in order for the good 'ol, beer drinkin', US to remain unified with positive morale is through the PATRIOTS having winning seasons!!!! No?
  2. ...to what the future will bring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54iAkkjsfrA It's a Norwegian commercial. Too bad America can't come up with stuff like this!
  3. IF you are interested, I have a Series II 71 my wife really wants gone. It runs.
  4. Now it's got a custom low-restriction exhaust. I bet he picked up about 20 more horses right there!!!
  5. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/car/525611374.html I do not know the OP, just spreading the word to all my friends... Looks like a decent price for 2 Rebello prepped motors and all that extra junk.
  6. I have a 1976 3.0 Si, the first year of Bimmer injection. I have been tempted to swap the motor, which has been balanced and blueprinted, into the much lighter HLS30 chasis. Unfortunately, I am an auto-electrical moron, and I am MUCHO afraid of the German electronic engine control. Anyone in CA want a vintage E-3?
  7. I tried to respond to this thread multiple times yesterday to no avail. After giving it some thought, especially re: the impact/pressure problems of the 3 1/2" shells (about which after 2 months of research/speaking with owners of local gun shops, I learned of only 2 days ago), I have decided to make the purchase. So....Thanks for the response, guys. I have placed the order for the 3" 11-87. I get to pick it up next Saturday! Merry Christmas to me!
  8. I looked at a 10 for about 15 seconds. The thought of what that thing would do to a teally is just sickening. Like disentegrating a hummingbird with a .50 cal! Cool. If I order by tomorrow I can pick up the gun the Saturday before X Mas. I won't have to borrow my bro-in-laws gun AGAIN ever! (I hate borrowing stuff)
  9. I absolutely love Benelli, I liked the Browning, but I can almost afford the Remington.
  10. Thanks for your input. I have another question. One of the dealers I went to told me that he was seeing that 3 1/2" chambered guns are now being sent to him for repair because of all the beating the extra charge/load of the 3 1/2" shell. Have you had any experience with this?
  11. I am considering a Remington 11-87 12 guage 3" chambered shotgun.http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model_11-87/model_11-87_sps_super_magnum_waterfowl.asp Likes, dislikes?
  12. Why don't they just go to Bonneville? [edit] when they get out of jail, that is. Morons. [/edit]
  13. From my family to yours. I hope you all stay safe and come back from this weekend content and happy!
  14. Congratulations! Did you run into any problems? Are you running chokes?
  15. I'll try. I am assuming you already have the carbs... 1) remove all EFI related equipment. AFM, thermotime switch, cold start valve, EFI ECU and related wiring, intake manifold with injectors, high pressure pump and regulator, etc. The EGR can remain. 2) Sell the EFI ECU, fuel rail and AFM to buy an N-36 intake manifold (any SU manifold will work, it is rumored that the N-36 gives better performance, but I have never seen PROOF) and an intake gasket. I am assuming you have a P-79? It will bolt straight up. You may have enough $$$ to purchase a stock orange air cleaner with all the vacuum line stubs, as well. 3) Find a low pressure pump (electric) or install a mechanical pump, and a low pressure fuel rail. 4) install new SUs with intake, and hook up fuel rail. 5) purchase the Just SU video from Z Therapy as well as a unisync tool. 6) you don't live in a very cool climate, but you may wish to install the choke cables to the cabin. You should be in business. Anyone else have suggestions?
  16. I would look elsewhere if I were you. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showpost.php?p=125901&postcount=19 http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showpost.php?p=219800&postcount=39 http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26337 When he was 'ur-gellis' I ordered a K&N air filter for a 260 and got a square filter. Only with REPEATED threats to report him, and that his 'ethics' were lacking did I get a refund LONG after I returned the part.
  17. It's as important as you make it. Some people are fine having it once in a while (Al Bundy) Some want it all the time (Peg Bundy) and anywhere in between. The important part is to find someone who likes it as much as you do, maybe a bit more, so the *snap* never fades. You have to find out who you are and what you like, before you can look for that in another person.
  18. All this talk about going to church....Maybe it was the environment in which I grew up, but the first make-out session I had was in my church's parking lot. Hmmm, Youth Group was indeed fun.
  19. What helps me remember is "too young, too old, JUST RIGHT" with the firing order alrady posted.
  20. As I was reading this thread, I was thinking to myself, Self - this is a really great idea, until I read Tony's post, which brought up a few good points. My water is from a 100' well, and I constantly worry about contamination. I came to the end of this thread, and VIOLA! there is a Sponsored Link to a DRY ICE BLASTING SERVICE! I wonder if they do housecalls? Wouldn't that be a kick? Besides, sublimation KICKS A$$!
