  1. Happy B-Day Pete! Let the AARP notifications begin if not already...just kidding
  2. I have the top square metal frame and rod from Nissan and the lower rubber box and drain hose from my 1/71 240Z. PM me.
  3. IMO I would either get another tank from Roger at Z Barn for $100 or have that tank reconditioned. Reconditioning will cost more first off what are the plans for the car leaving it stock or modifying it? If you're modifying it I recommend sending it to Moyer. Here are some links: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=123087&highlight=moyer http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=130970&highlight=moyer I didn't post my thread as putfile.com is still down for "maintenance" and my picture links are broken grrrr..
  4. Funny you mention that Tim. I have some insulated clamps that I was going to align the battery cables and move the pump-to-hard line feed under the cables. I understand your point and you're not being a prick by any means. It's on my list to-do on the windshield of the Z. I'll post a pic once I get to that stage. Thanks!
  5. Congratulations Sergeant First Class (Sel) Buckwalter!! Ferris Bueller, you're my hero.
  6. Well I had a good bit of time on Friday and part of Sunday to work on the Z. Let the pics speak for themselves. Fuel Pump Final Mount Harness Distributor block off plate and SDS Hall Sensor front cover bracket mounted Raychem DR-25 Heat Shrink Tubing installed on the EFI Harness Before After While I am waiting on the radiator repair I decided to put in my FairladyZ 432 Grille that I've had forever. Here you go: Before After Compare
  7. Paul, I have a perfect one from my 810 project for Kevin. I emailed him after you posted this thread and I got no reply. Maybe because I am on the other coast and shipping might not make it feasible? I guess I can call him when I have a minute.
  8. I didn't mean to fire anyone up. I just wanted to see how true their data was and if the site maintainers wanted to share its relevance. Figured it was B.S.
  9. I stumbled upon this site:http://www.quantcast.com/hybridz.org Here is an excerpt: Admins what say you?
  10. Well I have been creeping along over the past few months. I had an issue with the pulley and radiator see my other thread. Enjoy the pics: Fuel Line ran from tank to pump. Inline Filter from tank mounted behind filler neck access panel. Final Fuel pump mount (mockup) I used a 280Z stock Fuel Pump Bracket Modified. Return line to tank Stock Pulley removed Performance Product SDS Modified Pulley Installed More pics to come later...
  11. I do they were masked off when I sprayed them.
  12. I did some more digging, it's up on the developers site if that means anything: http://www.ashbournedevelopments.com/current_properties.htm Here is another drawing of the track and concessions.. looks promising: http://www.ashbournedevelopments.com/PDF%20Files/TRACK-CORNERS.pdf
  13. IMHO I wouldn't bother there are tons of clean Pathfinders in your area for cheap.
  14. The oil cooler ties came in. Crank pulley was turned around in a day, got it back on Thursday. Radiator was dropped off yesterday; really nice guy "old school" should have it back next week sometime. Today I plan to mount the crank pulley, mount the oil cooler back on the lines, mount the hall sensor mount to the front cover, work on sorting the wiring and get the gauges ready. I am starting to feel more confident.
  15. Nope not Rob (daddsun) this one was bright red. Rob is a good friend btw.
  16. Just wondering how many Z owners are on the board in my area? PM me if you don’t feel comfortable posting publically. The reason I started this thread is that I seen a very nice looking 280Z, red in color, sunroof with what I believe to be Cragar Draglite’s cruising through Calvert and St. Mary’s County a few weekends back. I was on my way somewhere else in the other direction both times I seen it on the road. It would be nice to get together with more Z owners. Maryland Z Club is way too far for me to even think about even though I was a member back when I lived on Andrews AFB. I am a member of ZCCNV though.
  17. Is there a different way to find user locations since a new vBulletin® was implemented recently?
  18. I have the ties on order:http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=EAR%2D1901ERL&N=700+0&autoview=sku Chris don't worry $hit happens that just means that you need to make time to come down once I have all this mess squared away and ready for the "wiring" help. I called the only local radiator repair place Bob's Radiator in Ridge, Maryland nice guy seems like he can help. I'm going to bring it by on Saturday so he can see the damage. I hope before the weeks out I'll have time to drop off the pulley to the machine shop using the old one as a template.
  19. Hey Austin, Not only the crack but the gouging on the inside towards the outer edge. How did you put it on? Did you drive it in with the bolt then torque it? Once this is all done I'll still send it back to you for your wall of shame. Your old one slid on without effort until the keyway. Where as this one doesn't... I just called MSA and they said there was suppose to be instructions in the box and then he directed me to the website.
  20. What directions, my box apparently missed that insertion during the shipping process. But thanks for checking. Anyways, if it's supposed to be a NISMO recreation wouldn't you think it would be close? Also after the crappy day I was having already it just added to my frustration.
