  1. Damn Nice BP!! Well I guess you don't practice Santeria and ain't got no crystal ball and if you had a million dollars you'd, spend it all.
  2. +1 on the Honda motor swap Clive, it's done in my Z. How's the heater core itself or you just replacing the valve?
  3. Simply Awesome! http://speedhunters.com/archive/2009/07/28/car-builder-gt-gt-how-the-nissan-gt-r-is-built.aspx
  4. My fault you had to go to http://www.superbrightleds.com/ in the first post, then navigate to: http://www.superbrightleds.com/carbulb-notes.htm and finally go here: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/
  5. Knock yourself out: http://www.japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=605 I'm willing to bet it's Watanabe RS-8: Or it could be the Watanabe R Type:
  6. Derek, I am 6'2" and for my 810 project to get it way up in the air I used 2 cement block per corner and a (2) 2x6 side by side and 2 more 2x6 going the other way nailed together with a 3 Ton jack stand on top for its base. Let me tell you it's solid as a rock. I had to stage it using a floor jack then placing jack stands at the highest point, then putting some 2x6 under the floor jack to get it up slowly higher and higher. I'll measure when I get home but I am sure its over 2 feet high from the rocker panel to the ground. I have learned anytime I use jack stands as soon as I get perfect placement with the jack stands supporting it while the floor jack is still in place after lowered a touch to take some weight off. I shake the crap out of the car going side to side to ensure no rocking movement and if I can, I will keep the floor jack under for an extra safety measure. I will update the thread and post some pics once I get home from work.
  7. Holy Crap Joe glad all is well it could have been much worse.
  8. This http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=125904&highlight=dash+bulb+size leads you to this: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/AutoLRG-Results.htm
  9. There was a time when the option was to only close them. Now all the ads have the delete function. If you had an older add this option didn't get added. It would be best if you guys PM your deletion requests to an admin and they will get to it when they can. This is the action I have been doing on all my older ads.
  10. Did you try to post it on: http://z31.com/ http://z31performance.com/forum/
  11. Before the flood gates open let me clarify a point so that the administrators don't receive mass PM requests for such an action. I have been on hybridz as a donating member for over 8 years. I am treated equally and I didn't know if this was possible so I PM’d an admin to inquire. It wasn't a big deal for me but I wanted to try to keep my registered date to show that I have been around a while and not treated like a newbie. I have only 500+ posts and I try to contribute in the technical sections when I can, when time allows and probably have 5000 + posts if they counted in Non Tech forum. Some people don't care either way but this is a minor detail and I thought I would ask the question before creating a brand new account. This is something that I am being told that is low priority to the admins. So if you don’t care about your registered date then just create a new account. If you are a non-donating member this is not an option. Did you ask to have just the username changed but you received a new account? I think a new account was created instead. I don’t know if you were a donating member before however, the outcome may have been different if you were a hybridz donor.
  12. . . to a new user name. After 8 years on this board and 12 years everywhere else I am no longer 240ztt. My new username is something that reflects my current project more than what the old username was going to be from over 12 years ago. Plus I have had the personalized vanity plate forever. My project has taken many turns and felt it's time for a change. I have already started updating everything I have from 240ztt to my new username. I will reference my old username in my signature for a while until my friends get used to it. So for all you 240Z Twin Turbo guys on the board I am giving you fair warning that the username is available.... but not for long. I am passing the torch to someone who can support this name. Also the domain name (http://www.240ztt.com) will also be available soon... Yeah sorry if you thought that I was leaving Z-car's. not a chance in hell
  13. Mike, I was born in Western NY and grew up in PSL, Florida for 15+ years from the late 70's-90's. The house I grew up in was the only one off of the main drag and now my town has just blown up. I go back and visit the family and can't believe the changes every time, I don’t think construction has stopped since early '90. The Northeast isn't bad, seasons are nice and winters have been hit and miss over the past decade. I have been up here since '98, separated from the military in '03 and settled for the area. I live far enough out of the city that it's not bad at all where I am. Now you are only a few hours from many of us. MIR is 20 minutes from me! Change is always hard but change can be good, everything happens for a reason. Best of luck!
  14. A Rush Motorsports P90 cylinder head, well where the heck is the pictures of that bad boy? You're killing me.......

So much for closed circuit as "Ken Block gymkhana" was done. They are lucky they didn't kill themselves or innocent people on the public roads with the close call idiotic "stunts".

  21. No new updates on the 810 I have been working on the Z.
  22. The red power wire came out of the injector harness that plugs into the SDS EMS. Anyone know how to push that pin out with out destroying that connector plug? See attached pic, the connector in question is circled in red. Thanks,
  23. So after an uneventful weekend I pushed myself a tad bit further back. In my “let’s make it look pretty yet functional†attempt in wrapping the SDS harness I jacked up a few Weatherpack connectors in trying to remove the pins vise cutting and soldering them. On my last two 3 pin connectors and my “tool†pushed the wire out and left the terminal in the connector. I was cheap and used a Craftsman pick not ideal so I have learned.. Weatherpack connector in question: So now I have an email into Ross to have some replacements ordered or get them online. Does anyone have a method or a tool recommendation to remove the male and female pins? I found this for $7.50 specifically for the Weatherpack connectors:
