  1. My blades overhang also but at the very most it measures 69.5mm. Measuring in the same way as LanceVance. Anyone want to sell theirs? Haha
  2. How did everyone else go that bought a pump recently, is it just Nelsonian and myself who got the wrong part?
  3. Mine arrived today, impeller measured in at 69.5mm, F#$k! Looks exactly the same as yours Nelsonian Looks to me like the numbers have been ground off for a reason, the reason is this is a gas pump. I'll be returning it!
  4. Kinda looks like the right shape, it's a bit worrying having the grind marks on it though. I hope these are the real LD pumps I've already gone through this once before. Lol. Here's my OEM LD28 pump. Could it be off centre slightly without the studs in?
  5. I've just ordered one also to keep as a spare for the current LD pump. Hopefully these are the true LD pump, keep us informed as you'll get yours well before I do down here in Oz. There was only six left when I ordered.
  6. Here's my full pics, starting from when I first got her all the way up to now including a few rebuild pics. Pic 1&2 are the in the wrong order. I'm up to version 4.0. Will it ever be finished? Hehe.
  7. Hi guys, I'm in the process of rebuilding an RB20det gearbox for my track Z. I'm looking into close ratio gear sets and came across some interesting info regarding gearbox oil surge on the PPG/ Pfitzner gear website http://www.ppgearbox.com.au/page.asp?parentid=2&parent2id=15&parent3id=27 It states as follows, see attached pic also. "All SR20 gearboxes have a "sandwich plate" in between the casing sections. On early types this has many holes to allow oil to move from the front to rear and vice versa. Nissan reduced the amount of holes in this plate and eventually went to a gated "trapdoor" type system on S14 gearboxes. This was done to solve a lubrication issue in early type gearboxes. Under drifting and motorsport situations the oil will have a tendency to sit in the rear section of the gearbox and thus starve certain gears of oil in the front section, particularly 3rd and 4th gear. This is a NISSAN design fault. It is imperitive that you ensure you use a late type sandwich plate or you block the oil holes to the rear of the gearbox to stop oil surge as per the picture to RIGHT. Please contact sales@ppgearbox.com.au should you have any questions. PPG will not warrant any SR20 sets that show signs of insufficient lubrication" My understanding is the RB20 is very similar to the SR20 box, Is this a required or worthwhile modification to do while I have the box completely torn down?
  8. I've seen them in a G-works parts gatalogue. Here's a link to the website but I can't find pricing anywhere. http://www.dookies.jp/concept/concept03.htm
  9. Sorry I may be a bit confused, is that just for the muffler? Spirit Garage do this full stainless 80mm setup for cheaper, you even get the rest of the exhaust system at no extra cost http://www.spiritgarage.com/product/72

  12. Some more pics of my 240Z, it was the Nissan Datsun nationals held over easter weekend at the Phillip Island GP circuit in Melbourne Australia. Must've been pumping out some heat, the tips on the stainless rear can have discolored!
