    my first 280zx had little to no frame, but the shock tower popped through the hood before anything else happened. Sounds like you still have a lot more metal left than Mine did

    Looks like good stuff, stacy was so much cooler than any of the new guys on there, be nice if his new show played some time besides 3 in the morning. These are all good ideas, ill check into the chassis saver but i can get enough por 15 to do the whole car for 50 bucks anyway

    Just wondering how every one else hets Rid of and prevents rust, does rust Converter work? What about those electronic rust stoppers , im almost going to start bolting blocks of zinc to my car like the navy does. What Have You guys done

    I got it to the right place my way, i know its not perfect but its a hell of a lot better than it was. I have big plans for it any way. Now that the lights point the right direction im going to fix up the rust and put a flat panel there and shave all that uglyness. Ill post some picks tomoro of it fixed. I can cut bend weld bondo and paint but im no hammer And dolly body man so this is my way of Doing it haha

    ended up drilling the spot welds for the support and straightening it by hand

    its not that easy though, the support where the hatch latch is is to stiff to do that, it would just bugger up the sheet metal, i need to bend the support and the rest wiil come with it

    oh dont worry, iv tried hammering. thats the idea iv been looking for! thank you. the P/O's E brake cable snapped.. after that its time to fix the rust

    i need to straighten out the hatch latch tailight area, but i cant think how to pull or push on it to straighten it out ps, if you think thats rust you havent seen my parts car

    both of my 280zxs release pressure when i take the cap off but gas has never shot out

    that sounds like it would be the right one if its the only one, i never did end up rebuilding mine, its in the plan but im waiting for the $, got fired from my job for applying for a better one.. mine just needs a syncro for second, but its not to bad just have to shift little slower, it has 280000 kms on it, still a world of difference over the 3 speed auto. hopefully iv helped you

    Need both front fenders for my 82 280zxt, ones rusty and i hit a bear with other, have whole parts car, with horrible body, runs good, good interior, whattayawant

    transmission serial number, near the tail shaft if it is the same as mine

    i just brought the numbers to the parts store and the figured it out, they dont find the rebuild kit by the model year etc of the vehicle they go by those numbers

    my guess if its not a B/W and its out of a 280zx is its a nissan 5 speed out of a non turbo s130, just installed one in my 280zxt
