I like that! What if you were to cut that out, smooth out the bumper (below the sugar scoops) and add a 240Z bumper color keyed to the ZG flares 2003Z has? That would look pretty sweet in my opinion. !M!

It has been done. Ernie (RacerX), I believe, has a few pictures of a concept car. It looks a bit goofy, but refreshingly different. No four doors though, just the two. !M!

Speaking of F-150 and fire, my Ma' just sent me this: "Mat - take a look at the attached pictures, especially the 2nd and 3rd pics. This is a house that started on fire around 2am in the morning. A person I work with - it was her sister's home in IL. This happened about 3 weeks ago. Preliminary reports say that his F-150 Ford started on fire (probably because of the cruise control recall). They had about 5 min. after their fire alarm started, to get out of the house before it was engulfed in flames. Their 3 year old son's room was right above the garage, and they grabbed him just in time before the flames were inside his room! This makes me want to get Mike's truck in for repairs, and make sure our smoke detectors are working! Mom" Here's the pictures: Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 !M!

It's a bad photo. I've seen one of these in person, and they are actually pretty cool looking. It's not a scoop, more of a neat looking, rather large vent. !M!

You actually make one cut right through the control arm near the pin. So, you take the nuts off the pin, cut the control arm, slide the piece of control arm you cut off, slide the other side off along with the rest of the control arm, and viola! Destroys a good control arm, but you don't have to fight with that damn spindle pin. !M!

If you do, I would love to see it! Fitting a 240Z bumper on a 280Z can be done but it's not a bolt on. I believe brackets need to be made ( a search will give you the information you need). I have my old bumper, but I'm not sure if it will fit anymore. If I have time this weekend, and it does fit, I'll take a picture. !M!

Here's a couple pictures of my '73 with a 280Z airdam from MSA with no bumpers and wide intercooler. I think it looks pretty good. I may need to do something about that big mouth though, still undecided. !M!

The rear half of the car looks similar to an Aston Martin Vanquish. (which I saw driving this morning , same color as the one pictured below) !M!
