This guy is a wealth of information and is very helpfull on the forums and off. Thanks for sticking around Alan and correcting all the misinformation. I have learned a lot from your posts.

    Well, it could be the front differential mount or the bushings for the moustache bar. I've seen both make the noise you're describing.

    The isolators are two peices of metal with rubber vulcanized inbetween them. You can't make them shorter. However, if you were to burn out the rubber, weld the two pieces of metal together, then figure out a way to mount a monoball in there, you might be able to lower your ride height by at least 1/2" or so. Not much. EDIT: If you were to mount the monoball on top of the isolator, that would drop it even more.

    Full face welding helmet, dew rag or hat with small brim, leather apron, leather arm protection, ect. It sucks, but can be done safely.

    Oh damn Justin, that sucks! If it makes you feel any better, my Dad backed up and rear ended my S-10 with his trailer hitch and smashed the rear bumper and all the plastic on it... then he left and didn't even tell me about it.

    I like Corvette "Dark Cloissonne Met. Poly." It looks purple at night under street lights. I painted my CRX that color seven or eight years ago. Got lots of compliments. Here's a picture of a dudes Chevelle painted that color.
