  1. I'm planning on taking a trip in October to somewhere in the Caribbean for my birthday. I'm looking for some advice on where exactly to go. Some places I had in mind were St. Thomas, Negril, Jamaica, or Nassau Bahamas. Anyone here been to any of these places? I'm really looking for a place that's less of a secluded private getaway type of deal and more of a party atmosphere I guess you could say. I'll be with a couple friends, we're all in our mid 20's. Any recommendations? Thanks, Brandon

  4. It should be comparable to a Garrett GT42R in terms of overall size. Here is a picture of a GT42 next to a T67.
  5. Racer98 on this board has a great reputation for delivering top notch engines. Search his name.
  6. A lot of good info here: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=101321&highlight=oil+cooler

  8. The shop next door to mine used one. It fit OK but the throttle body it came with was way too big. Something like 100mm. It essentially made the throttle an on/off switch. I personally liked the way you could modulate the throttle with the factory ITB's on mine. Brandon
  9. I really wouldn't come in here and tell other people that they have no basis for an opinion when it's THEIR opinion. Not everyone has to see things your way. Also, you seem to have a bit of a purist attitude, at least in regards to the RX-7. This really isn't the place for that sort of talk. Just some friendly advice. Brandon
  10. Ahhhh. I remember the day I picked mine up. You couldn't peel the smile off my face. Good luck on the swap!
  11. If I'm not mistaken, that's Karim's listing (Racer98 on this board). He's known for the quality of his engines.
  12. While the rotary may be really cool, it's downfalls supercede that cool factor really very quickly. They're loud, dirty, finicky engines that never seem to hold together in turbocharged form. There is a reason the V8 swap is so popular among RX-7 owners. I think someone did that RX-7 a favor. -Brandon Owner of an LS1 FD

  14. There is a large balance tube above the ITB's that will have the best signal for vacuum/boost. I removed the PCV valve from it and tapped the MAP sensor for my Power FC into it.
  15. That shift light was on more than it was off. Over-rev might have killed it rather than the damper being off.
  16. I spent close to $10K on mine and that was with me doing everything. I did the wiring, made a complete exhaust, made an intercooler and charge pipes, and made the transmission mount. That also included the cost of having the crank collar fixed (R32 engine) and the Power FC that I bought. Brandon
  17. I was hoping to get the color of this car: onto this car: I'd also like to see the wheel centers in white rather than black. Thanks, Brandon
  18. Used to have an RBZ, now I've got an LS FD. 75-80 is open for business, I live 200 yards from it. Brandon
  19. I have a good copy of the FSM if you want it. If you take your time you can figure it all out. Trust me, I'm not really electrically skilled but I managed to do it. Set aside a Saturday and concentrate on nothing but the harness. Double and triple check before you cut and you'll be ok. Mannyvig -Good point about the ballast resistor pack. I had to make my own as well. Brandon
  20. Have you downloaded the FSM yet? You can use the wiring diagram in there to cut out the wires/connectors you wont be using and identify the wires needing constant 12V and switched 12V power. Brandon
