After driving some issues are coming up, like

    1. Brakes not taking enough pressure
    2. Some heat coming from from the gearbox opening
    3. Clutch pedal needs a bit of alignment
    4. Exhaust is too low might need working on gearbox mounting and move the exhaust up
    5. Steering rod had some problem during alignment time running -1.7 camber on one end and -1.1 on other will be fixed soon

Coils, some trunk emblem, speedo GPS module and fuel sender are on order will be replaced next week. Apart from this car drives very nice suspension if a bit stiff i guess will loosen up after some driving.

  2. I just ordered those same wheels in a different color and offset about a month ago. Now after seeing your car I'm wondering if I should have gone with a more aggressive size/offset. I went with 15x9 -28 front,15x10 -28 rear... Hope I don't need spacers to fill my flares. You did a great job on the car by the way!

You would be fine I guess, as per your offsets, mine are poking 10mm so you would be pretty flush

  3. Below was not going in the above post

Installed the front Cusco strut bar cheery of the top for the bay :), loving the engine bay some cleaning of nuts bolts is there but thats more of an ongoing project

After the wiring got the car on dyno (AWD Mustang) but couldn't go above 230-240whp, coils start misfiring, but did the tune and car is running perfect now, pushing around 215-220whp on 5psi. Will change the stock coils, plugs and do a retune after a month or so.

Did a quick cleaning job, all left now is to check the brakes as pressure is very low even after 1 inch willwood brake master cylinder

    Installed some generic pedals

  5. I connected the wire coming out from the auometer and plug it to the gearbox wire its not working, sorry to ask again and again but have seen people running it most probably like a simple job but not working for me.

I showed it to the electrican who did the wiring he said some kind of sensor is required but what confuses me sensor is required when you want to hook a mechanical speedo to an electrical sensor or vice versa

  6. As I said earlier when the shop was doing wiring i sent crank covers and intake manifold for polishing, so today everything came back and was installed along with coil pack and camgear covers in carbon fiber

Got this long time back today installed it

Custom radiator cooling plate not liking it much but will fix it later maybe cut in half and some more bends, was done in aluminium then chrome plating.

Got aluminium covers for headers and turbo plate and removed the stock ones

Coolant overflow tank custom made according to the body curves in aluminium

Chrome cam covers with coil pack cover in carbon fiber

Cam gear cover changed to the carbon one, some changes were required as cover was for series 1 and Neo is slightly different.

  7. I had heard both versions of the "2" but tony is correct. I do think the 2.0 would be appropriate for this build.

As for the timing Matt at mega squirt said the CAS will work with the AEM wheel. He thought a crank trigger would be easier though. Since I did the trigger wheel swap before and know it only took about 10 min. I will try that first. I'd rather not clutter up the front with a crank sensor. The other nice thing is I can use the MS 1 which has an internal igniter they also sell a six post coil pack which should be nice and tidy. The whole lot is less than 500 bucks.

I have already bought an RB20det motor and tranny local for super cheep. If nothing else I'll use it to do the mock up for the intake and exhaust and get a DE later. I spoke to ARias and they can make some flat top pistons with the stock 10.2-1 de compression. Does anyone know if the bottom end is stronger on the det than the de? One would think it would be because of the added horseys.  I would also need to figure out the cams.  Since i got the motor so cheep would it be better at this point to rework the RB20 or get a DE shipped to me for about $1k?  And which would have the higher rev potential?

    The mikunis are en route.

I am making a similar engine theme on the side will finish it sometime in April, as my Z is still not done. According to the research which I did Rb25/30 is better then 26/30 in terms or cost. Not sure about RB20. Engines are cheap here got a RB30 for 350$ and RB26 head for 500$. I got some quotes from people in Australia (NITTO,JSE) they can do custom pistons to increase the compression in NA built to 10+ for 1300$.

I bought an RB26 intake manifold from Mike (Nzeder) he did the initial work to make adaptor plates to fit any DOCE carbs bolt on, injector holes closed and water lines rerouted.

Now recently I am thinking of getting RB25DE Neo engine and use the head and slap it on the RB30 block, compression issues will be easier and cheaper to sort that way. It will be cheaper job here to get the intake manifold adjusted to fit carbs bolt on to it. But still not decided.

For the distributor and ignition there is an Australian guy here in Dubai who will tune my car through adaptronic standalone ecu, according to him it will be easy to run without getting distributor through that.

Its better to do it on RB25/30 then RB20 that my opnion and If any of you guys want any help in getting engine (RB30s) let me know I think it will work out 600-800$ with shipping.

  8. Which style arm rest is that too. I need to get one for mine.

Id be interested in a 240 console, maybe not the dash insert as i have a vintage air kit and a radio. but defiantly the lower console. As long as its reasonable..

Sorry for the delay as couldnt pass by that shop, they now told me center console they can not do it as they made changes in mine and wrapped it, but the instrument cluster can be done provided there are atleast 5 orders with different configurations etc...
