  1. Jeff Hartman's "How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems" will keep you busy for a while. You're not trying to size an injector spot on... you should always have some headroom. Here is a good calculator... http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx?UserID=1647677&SessionID=B4uMm8ML2rvePEkeHHmJ
  2. Without dissasembly, there is no way to be absoulty certain, but you can get an idea by looking at the block stamp. See red circle below... It should say L28 if it came from a 280Z/ZX Also, the blue circle is the head casting. Might say N42, P90, etc. Use our search function to learn more about that specific head.
  3. Why don't blonde's make Koolaid? They can't figure out how to get 4 quarts of water into that little package.
  4. For what purpose does the propeller serve on an airplane? It keeps the pilot cool. Proof, you say?... If it stops, the pilot WILL sweat.
  5. That ad. has been posted here recently, and I'm reasonably certain the owner is a HBZ member.
  6. Doesn't matter. They're batch fired.
  7. You really ought to stop drinking the local water
  8. Why did Captain Kirk pee on the ceiling? He wanted to go where no man had gone before.
  9. Why was Tigger looking in the toilet? He was looking for Pooh.
  10. Cary, wouldn't the swaybar and its attachment method be a factor? A big burly bar, mounted to the control arm would be trying to pop the monoball from the socket, whereas a strut mounted bar wouldn't. Or is this load insignificant in the bigger picture?
  11. I'll think about it. Okay, I'm done thinking.
  12. You're question was indirectly answered in post 3 (& 4 ). Several of us have used the optical CAS as a trigger. FYI, if there is enough information to support sequential ignition, there is enough to support sequential injection.
  13. D80. I did some googleing and it looks like the D80 is ho-hum... not bad, not good. I priced out an R72 for my 18-200 VR... $286. Ouch. For my 50mm, $43. For $43, I may give it a whirl. Thanks!
  14. Boobala, I've long since been a sucker for IR photography. Nice job I wasn't aware you could get so close with a DSLR and a filter. My Xmas list just got a little longer
  15. True. One rule of thumb is the table... specifically its condition. I've found the condition of the table often coincides with the care/treatment the rest of the machine has seen. A machinist that doesn't care about the table 'prolly doesn't care much for anything else. That said, my table is absolutely pristine.... and I treat the rest of the machine with the same respect.
  16. I've done it. I don't recall any snafu's. The bearing should stay.
  17. The images all come in fine... its on your end.
  18. I've done it twice. Once, to a very young lady, being discourteous to a number of other drivers. Afterward, she was clearly much more respectful of 'others'. I never lost any sleep over that one. The other time... well, I won't do it again.
