  1. Well found. The first two are mine as in my post above, the second 2 are an easier way to do it by someone else and there is a third example on my website shortcuts above, from another HybridZ member, so there are 3 examples in all there to review. regards
  2. I think you would spend mega dollars, have mega problems and have a car that would never be able to put down the power, and then kill yourelf. I wouldnt do an RB26 Z either (having done one), I would go for the SR20 in the 1600 as Matt says, or an RB25 in a Z for the best bang for your bucks regards
  3. Here are the shortcuts to a writeup on this on my website http://www.bluevista.net.au/PDF/Z422T/Website%20Z422T%20Pt%205%20The%20Sump%20Modification.pdf http://www.bluevista.net.au/PDF/Z422T/Website%20Z422T%20Pt%209%20Oil%20Pickup%20Conversion.pdf http://www.bluevista.net.au/PDF/Z422T/Website%20Z422T%20Part%209a%20Oilpickup%20Conversion.pdf regards
  4. Have you been to an Auto Electrician? On my 240Z after I put a Crane system in I had no tacho either and the electrician put a module in my original tacho and bingo all working perfectly. He assures me he can do the same with my RB26 260Z original tacho.
  5. Apexi Power FC Djetro - havent fired it up yet though
  6. I agree, looks excellent. I really like your sump pan. Interesting how each of us has done our aircleaners etc. I have attached how we did mine as well fyi regards
  7. The car looks excellent. What front spoiler is that? regards
  8. Looks good - so what rims and tyres did you use? regards
  9. thanks Mike I like the look of those T1R but thye dont offer them in 245 16 at the moment I dont think regrds
  10. They started at 27000php so do you think I did ok at 25000?! regards
  11. thats what I was thinking. I may have to put street tyres on the new 16 x 8 inch rims and use my 15 x 7inch race tyres (205) off my 240Z when on the circuit
  12. John I value your experience and opinion. With R compound tyres they require warming up. On a mainly road car do the R compound tyres not properly warm up in mostly normal driving therefore making them potentially not as grippy and therefore in some ways a bit hazardouus? Whats your thoughts regards
  13. Chad, yes from Philippine Aluminium Wheels Inc. Thank Dave & Janaka, will check this out
  14. I've only ever posted in here so I suppose I'm a bit stuck! How do I move it, or do I just copy it and start a thread in there? Tyres at home are all usual makes but the 16 size in 245 doesnt seem to be very available. I thought guys on this forum with the turbo power would probably have explored this, but maybe they go for bigger diameter rims? regards
  15. Hi guys sorry to be excited but I just bought 4 new Rota RB Mags 16x8 here in Manila for Aust $754 or US $519. This is almost A$500 saving for the 4 wheels which is great provided I can get them into Aussie without them being stolen, taxed or additional freight charged - I believe I have all that covered, fingers crossed. Now can I ask what 245 tyres people have used? I did a search but didnt find much on here. A quick check on the web for Aust does not bring up a lot of 245 x 16 brands. I want the stickiest street tyres I can get or road legal race tyres - I have Toyo Proxes RA 1 tyres on my 240Z which work well on the track, but was looking for something a bit more all round if possible - there is a new Toyo Proxes R1R but only listed to 225 for 16's. Toyo Proxes T1R has 245 - anyone used these? Toyo Proxes TQ street drag tyre in 255 50 16 - anyone used these? Advan dont seem to have anything in this size? Other recommendations?
  16. No worries. Hybridz has helped me so much I developed my website to return the favour and help others regards
  17. What you are after is in Part 21 on my website regards
  18. You are right - it appears to be split in the middle. I will try and put it in my signature again, however just put in that website and you will find all the info under Motoring/mikes RB26 260Z regards
  19. I have used an original Z water temp sender in this sump (same thread) to work with an original water temp gauge, that I put in with the original oil pressure gauge - have a look on my website regards
  20. See the attached photo - you can see the hose off the front turbo coming off the BOV fitting and pointing back to another hose which is coming off under the rear turbo large hose. So the front turbo plumb back point is on the alloy fitting and the rear one is actually off the hose not the alloy fitting - see other photo of alloy fittings
  21. Thanks Matt for your feedback. Zardilla I am using an Apexi DJetro which doesnt use AFM's so I am only plumbing back due to licensing requirements here. However if you are using the whole standard setup then you will need to plumb back to both turbos otherwise the computer will not know what is going on. The standard setup does have a plumb back on the rear turbo into the hose rather than the alloy piece as fitted to the front turbo regards
