  1. CanadianZ you may see I have started a new thread re the aircollector & AAC valve - can all these go as well, is this what you are referring to? regards
  2. Excuse my lack of mechanical knowledge, but can these be removed or are they absolutely necessary?
  3. Can anyone help? I replaced my standard R32 ceramic turbos with 350hp Garret Ballbearing turbos which supposedly were a straight changeover for the originals. As it has turned out there are a few small differences. One I am trying to solve at the moment is the oil pipe fitting. The replacement turbos have a different shape foot and farther apart bolt holes than on the original (see attached photos - the first photo shows the foot of the OE turbo, the second the OE oil pipe fitting and the third the new ball bearing turbo foot which is more angular and bolt holes are farther apart). Does anyone know whether you can buy the correct oil pipe fitting to match the new turbos - someone thought it was an N1 fitting? Anyone had the same issue - I could slot the oil tube fitting but I'd rather not and also the pipe direction of the fitting will not clear the new turbos
  4. You get the GTR cam cover ornament from Nissan Parts at any Nissan dealer, in your case Courtesy Nissan I imagine
  5. thanks, felt a bit funny putting it on, but is good eh!
  6. Sorry but I had to show you my new number plates for the RB26Z. Check these out!
  7. Hi Dimitri, I didnt realise it was you. I have moved to Bunbury and have the car down here. I have been travelling overseas every month this year so havent had time to do much work on it. However have the motor and gearbox in and am about to wire it up. Check the website regards
  8. I would still like a 422T set thanks. I will email regards Mike Rowe Attached Thumbnails
  9. That is good as a confirmation Zedman. The Navara look in the other thread on Gauges I did, I think it is all in there and also Budget zeders thread regards
  10. So that all electrical can be found in one thread, I have copied this info into here ----------------------------------------- Mating the Z Gauges to the RB Engine Swap Sensors Etc What a great combination of brains, knowledge, experience, and resourcefulness this site lends to us!!!! Between all you of us we now have established: Water temp gauge - Use S13 or R32 Skyline sensor Part No 25080-89903 if you have a motor from an R32 then it already has the correct sensor. Oil pressure gauge - Use Z original sensor screws straight in Amps/Volt meter - no change Oil Temp Gauge - I used an additional water temp gauge fitted above the oil pressure gauge and used the Z original water temp sensor that screws in the RB20 sump. (see my website) Speedo - use Navara D21 Ute mechanical gearbox Pinion Assembley Part No 3270202G17 Boost Gauge - Remove Clock - replace with Autometer Boost gauge, fits in housing. Just not sure where you link the gauge up to on the motor - anyone know? Tacho - need some sort of resistance built for the tacho - anyone figured that one out? This sounds like what is needed does anyone know if this would work for the tach? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...2&autoview=sku
  11. Hi Mark thanks for that. Where did you plumb the accusump in? Between one of the lines that goes to the oil cooler or somewhere else? Does yours have the electric valve or manual?
  12. Mark went on your website and it is fantastic. The car is absolutely beautiful. Can you take some photos of where you have your Accusump? I havent yet mounted mine, and would be interested in how you have done it. thanks & regards
  13. Potentially here starts the bulldust from the supplier. At least they said to send it back, but no doubt at your cost! I will bet that it hasnt been damaged in transit but rather just the way they have supplied it. Be interested to hear your next feedback.
  14. Gotcha. Amazing number. Anyway regarding the RB25 & 26 I presume if you have the R32 no change is required. If you have the R33 or later you need to change to the R32 sensor
  15. I am not at a stage to check the tacho as my motor is not running yet. Can someone try the wiring diagram I submitted above to see if it works. If it does then we have solved all the issues to allow full use of the original Z gauges!
  16. Well more info to complete the picture. The sensor 25080-89903 not only is it in the S13 models, but it is also in the early Skylines, GTR's etc. So if you have a motor from an R32 then it already has the correct sensor (25080-89903). That is why my original GTR sensor (R32) came up so close to the Z sensor (obviously testing error). The 89907 sensor that I incorrectly purchased is in the S14's and also in the R33 Skyline model engines - hence why some of you have had to change them. This has been confirmed by my Nissan parts dealer. I have added the R32 skyline to the notes at the beginning of this thread
  17. A guy sent me this a couple of weeks back for the tacho - dont know if it works

  19. Ah that may be the problem as you are using the S13 number sensor and the one I have lines up with what you quote as the S14 sensor (25080-89907). Looks like I will have to take it back and exchange for Part No 25080-89903. Thanks mate, that must be the answer.
  20. Thanks for your quick response.. Vacuum for what?
  21. On my L28 motor there is a fitting off the thermostat housing that I thought was the temp sensor for the water temp gauge at first but it is not. It has 2 plastic tubes coming off it. See photo - one plastic tube has been broken off. Does anyone know what it is?
