I was thinking of shoving a turbo where the cat used to go on my R1 and scrounging up a set of gt42's or a couple holset's for the sbc.

So i tried to start the motor with it in the car today, got it fired up, then after about 5 minutes the little lick turned into a knock, then the motor just stopped working all together, so while at the junkyard I sold them the car, but i still scored 2 good t3's from running z31's. It may look like the sbc is gonna stay in atleast for a while longer.

So i picked up a 86 300e this morning complete and running for free today and I'm about to go turbo core shopping at the junkyards tomorrow.........

I've seen quite a few cars that where rolled with cages like that, most of them either had bars sheered off, or the cage just folded in on itself. the solstice in the forza motorsport challenge on speed did the same thing then it wrecked, the top of the cage was just folded to the side and the cage itself was just twisted like a pretzel. here's to vid.

Well its dead..... the green motor ate itself and we did an all night motor swap on friday, got to the track and had carb problems, then battery problems. sunday, we rebuilt the carb at the track, and lowered the pan hard bar one notch, ripped the brake caliper mounts off the rear end and took the lines with it, so we disconnected the rear brakes and capped off the line, then proceeded to hit a cement pad, bent the lower control arm, ripped off the trans pan and bent a rim, ripped off part of the body, but after an hour, it was back on the track. pics to come monday!

The question i have for you, is why didnt you notice the car ahead of time? I make it a habit to keep my eye on the cars at/coming to the intersection to see if they are going to stop and prepare my action.

get good at the DDR game, it ill teach you some good eye-foot coordination and will up you reaction time XP by three points! (you probably tried to straiten it back out and it snapped around on you)

How much spark are you getting? are you sure the injectors are firing when it wont start?

No, that was the line lock, a hydraulic e-brake is its own matercylinder and handle. what all the hard core drifters use.
