  3. If you want to learn more about cars and dont need your car to get you to work every day, I would suggest buying a 4 leg engine stand the book on modifying the L-series, a haynes/chilton or fSM. And build it up yourself while learning along the way! theirs more then a few qualified L series guru's on this board that would be willing to help should you become stuck or have a question.

  10. once you start racing a clock, you start taking your driving personally, when you do that, that can start to actually feel the car and what its doing. You can start feeling when the car is struggling and when its happy. The car fully becomes an extension of the driver and you start treating the car like another person. once you get comfortable with your car being an extension of yourself you can then push each others boundaries farther out until you hit a euphoric limit, which you will then look back at the past and look at the present and come to reality..
  11. I would rather race a clock then race a person....
  12. I would just buy the little autometer clock and install it, unless it was a factory quartz clock, then i would atleast attempt to get it going.

  16. If it did fit, you would need the dash wiring harness from the z31. z31's dash power supply and possibly the z31's ECU/EFI setup.
  17. you must be a very confused man then, trying to stick and ls1 in a z32 and now sticking one in an m3...
  18. I know a few people i could send that too..
  19. use a bigger bolt on the front and rear of the motor. Just remember that cherry pickers are their to test the tensile strength of whatever you did disconnect or unbolt.
  20. (why do we have two of the same smilies, but with different names?)
  21. I would hate to be on the receiving end of that short block, if you hit something on the freeway on the way home.
