I thought so, Thanks John ! I'll let my dad buy them, he's not shortening anything. I kinda don't think he should shorten anything with the LS 6.0L he's dropping in his 260z. It would be cool if you had or can get the HZ3099's cause I have the money for it right now. The BZ3099 are cool but I'd be saving up for a couple of paychecks to be able to get them from you.

My buddy in San Diego is running a Rb20 in his 280z with a t3/t4 turbo, 750cc injectors, top mount exhaust manifold, and few other things. Last time I talked to him he was pulling 450 at the wheel !

Completely Agree ! You could pull all 6 and re-hone all cylinders and put new rings on all, and while your at that you could put new bearing on all too. It may or may not be more than your willing to do right now.

Sorry this happened to you ! Getting that piston out shouldn't be to hard you, just gotta drop the oil pan, unbolt it and push/tap it up! But you already know this.

I say your going to have to pull the head ! You'll have to do it anyway. How many cycles did you rotate the engine after you put the head back on ? It should be at least the same amount of cylinders the engine is. I learned to do that the hard way on a crx engine I had just finished rebuilding back in the early 90's before basic training. It sucked cause I had just had the head completely gone through and I rotated the engine once or twice and then the starter and crunch. Cost me a new gasket, 3 valves, a piston, and valve seat repairs.

Looking Good ! I'm still on building my coilovers and front end Energy bushing replacemant. Almost done, just gotta test fit and finals welds by my co-worker. I might have a extra set of rear disc brake brackets. I'm having them made base on the one's I bought but they won't be exact, plus he can make them for whatever caliper too, we'll see what happens. I just picked up the cherry picker from my dads house so I can pull the engine/tranny. I scored some 88' turbo axles for free from someone who just wanted to get rid of stuff. They just need the boots replaced and some cleaning. I was shooting for the diff too but it was gone already.

Got pics ? How much ? It might be a coupe of weeks depending how much you want since I spent the brunt of my saved money on front coilover pieces. Does it include the tranny mount ? I have a rb/z32tt tranny.

I think your right about the "S Chassis," I guess I was wishful thinking ! I'm still trying to decide LS-Series V8 or RB engine. I have a RB/Z32TT tranny already and just need the engine. I have access to a LS1 and a LS-Series 4.8 but I would need a tranny(T56). Both(T56 & RB25DET) cost around the same price, I'm just not sure which way I want to go. I did plan on some drags with it but also so road courses too. But mostly weekend fun and an occasional drive to work.

I recently was on RawBrokerage.com and I saw that they sell a R33 crossmember that'll bolt up an s30 chassis. Could this be an easier cheaper method than the McKinney mounts ? I would still need to buy the stock mounts ! Where do I find Rick Wong mounts ? Does he have a website ?

So now the front end is torn apart. Struts are off to be sectioned. I ordered the wrong size O.D. sleeves from Summitt Racing(sending back) but Techno Toy Tuning hook me up with the right size ones, upper hats, & lower perches. The QA1's look good and are 10" and rated at 175lbs. The sleeve's from Techno are 4" and should be here by the end of the week. I'll post pics when everything is here. On a different note, I've been contemplating doing a LS1 swap instead of a RB20/25det. My dad has a LS1 longblock(less the intake manifold) and a LS-series 4.8 sitting at his house. I'm trying to weigh it out cause I'll still have to buy a T56 tranny which cost roughly the same amount as the RB, I already have a RB/z32tt tranny. I found a T56 in Vegas for $600 obo but will need a rebuild. I don't know !

Sorry to hear that man ! Maybe the board is still good and nothing else is fried so you can replace that component(hopeful thinking !).

Thanks man ! I've been talking to BetaMotorsports this morning. They're out of the shortened struts(HZ3099)for my setup. What is a typical spring length ? I have no idea ! 8" seems right but not really sure, I just want to be able to raise and lower and have a good ride too !

Do they sell the spring to go with their sleeve and collar ? What size(Length & ID)spring and spring rate should I use?
