Z32, Me likey that ! Is that TT or NA or either ? Would I be able to retain my 4 lug bolt pattern(I just bought a set of Konig Rewinds)? Are there any pics of this anywhere ?

I just got off the phone with Edan from Silver Mine Motors an he confirmed that those brackets will not work with 240sx calipers. They are made for a 2006 Mustang GT caliper & rotor. He went on to say that the 240sx disc swap is not really a good upgrade, that the caliper is weak and there's not enough pad surface for the rotor etc. That sucks cause I have some 240sx calipers ready for me to rebuild for this swap. I may still do it since I wont be racing of anything.

Yes, I will be doing a RB swap too ! I want a rb25det but I keep finding rb20det's for cheap($500 complete engine with no electrics). I still need to pull the old L26/auto tranny out. Hopefully I can sell it for cheap just to get rid of it. I've been using the money that I make from selling old stuff in my garage from previous cars to fund some of the things that I'm doing so I figured why not buy the little things with the money. I just bought a pair of 240sx caliper for $35, I have to rebuild them but they are for my rear disc conversion. I found a pair of lowering springs for cheap but I don't know much about them but they were $20 so if they're not what I want I only spent $20. I'll buy parts if there cheap even though I might not be ready for them. I won't be ready for my engine for a while due to funds unless I can wheel and deal in a trade for a LS1 block/heads/crank that I have at my dads house. Yeah, come on down and check me out ! I could use some advice on a lot of things especially since I know very little about these cars. How are you going to do your fuel delivery ? Are you shortening your struts ? Is that required for lower Z's ?

I bought the Silver Mine Motors stage 3 brake kit(its mostly installed) ! Plus, I just picked up some 16x7 Konig Rewinds(graphite)with 0 offset. They look similar to the watanabe's ! I order a bushing kit from Alamo Motorsports tonight. I still need to finish sanding the interior and put down the POR-15, swap in brake/clutch pedals & Starion seats and then I'll be down with the interior for a while. At the same time trying to source all my rear brake parts and deal with 15/16 MC. No one has a rebuild kit for it. I have a long way to go ! There so much I still have to do !

Thank you for this thread, its really informative ! I'm doing the same swap into my 260z but I'm not doing the engine just yet. Currently I'm doing the brake system, I just put the 4 piston brake system on and I'm rebuilding the 15/16 master cylinder right now and gathering parts to do the rear disc brake swap. I like what your doing with the fuel tank ! Please keep me posted on that cause I don't want to spend the money to put a surge tank and all that if don't have to. Your car is looking good !

Yeah, I noticed it said that it would fit honda, mitsu, nissan too but it only has 1 bolt pattern. he just texted me and said they are 4x114.3 ! I don't know ! I'd hate to get them home and the fitment sucks or he lied and then I would have to unload 3 rims like he's doing !

Cool, I can live with that ! I just need to find the one rim to match it !

Yeah they 215fwy was had a bad accident near baseline so it was a crawl. I had to go thru the city to find a way around. He was going to ask my uncles when they come to visit(who know when thats going to be, they live in Panama). Do you know someone ?

I just bought a z32tt tranny with rb26 bellhousing on it ! I've read that it will bolt up just fine but the shifter location is off. Is there a fix for this yet or will I have to cut out some metal ?

Sold my Camaro and scored a 74' 260z for $450 ! So now the sanding begins ! I hate it, I hate it, I hate it ! The PO stripped a good 75% of the body using some chemical and then quit so the body was left out in the elements with bare metal. I think I got it in time before anything got really corroded and thinned, it all turns out to be surface rust with very little pitting(the roof is the worst,it looks as if it has freckles).I'll get pic's up tomorrow !

Sold my Camaro 2 weeks ago. I'll pick up my 74 260z on Sunday or Monday. I got it for $450 ! So I'll start re sanding and pulling the interior and sanding there too. It'll probably be a year or so to get my rb engine but I'm about to buy a 300zx TT tranny with the rb bellhousing already on it for $180. I hope to be almost where your at by the late summer !

How do you like your RB20 ? Does it take alot to get it to crank out 350+whp ? I've been contemplating cause its cheaper !

Could I put some Meth Injection on top and get 400whp+ ?

What's the difference between the rb25det series 1 & 2 other than one being a later year than the other ? Which one would be ideal to get ?

Man ! I had a Holset Hx35 but got rid of it to clear up stuff in my garage. So these turbo(HX35 & GT30) are cool with the stock bottom end ? And no upgrading anything and could get me 350-400whp ?

I found what I wanted to know ! I think I'll be going with a gt28 or gt30 !
