Looking for a pair of rear struts for my lowered 74' 260z(late). Tokico, koni, whatever that can hanlde being lowered 2"-4" and is NOT stock !

Look like its coming together nicely ! I will be excited to see this together with the twin's *cough..cough*, I mean mufflers on the rode. I hope the tires are wide enough so you'll have a hint of traction !

I will be saying the same thing soon hopefully about my 97' Techno-Violet Metallic BMW M3 ! Its been fun, it a very superb handling car but on the expensive side for a DD ! I need a honda/acura while I build my beast. The Bimmer is taking away from it !

Crazy ! Just chalk it up to Cali going broke and ticketing the BS stuff ! I mean what's the point of ticketing for modified exhaust piping if not to make money ? Its a legal guaranteed money scam for Cali IMHO ! I can only imagine whats going to happen when I get my turbo LS 4.8 in my Z !

No worry's man, I understand ! I'm at a stand still also, waiting to save up to buy more stuff. I just bought a 16gal fuel cell and a Z06 cam for my engine. I still need a tranny. I've also been working on the rear suspension. Pulling everything off except the diff cause I still need a R200 mustache bar but everything else has been refurbished, painted, and Energy bushings installed. BTW the longblock looks nice ! Good buy !

How old is the radiator ? It could be gummed up inside preventing flow !

I have a source for billet aluminum brackets in Moreno Valley, Ca. I have a pair going on my late model 260z. He made me 2 set but at the time I could only afford 1. They are for 79-81 280zx calipers, I don't know if they different for 82' . Let me know, I can take pics of mine if you want. He's asking $175 !

The piston itself is in and seems to fit and work just as stock, but the hardware that comes with it does not fit(C-clip, springs,nozzles,O-rings). I just reused my old.

Yeah I'll keep you all in the loop. I need to put it all together and get my booster back on the firewall and finish my rear brake conversion. The little bag of replacement parts does not fit the MC. The nozzle parts are too big and the C-Clip does not fit either(too small). I kept those parts from my old one so I should be alright !

So I went to Rock Auto and I ordered DORMAN Part # TM351674 {#46011C7025}. It just cam in today so here are the pics ! As you see the the new one is slightly longer(about an 1/8") on this one. And on this one the original is slightly longer(about an 1/8"). So I think we have a winner ! The overall size is the same and the piston diameter is the same(no I didn't put a micrometer on it). This kit cost me $24.97 shipped and comes with this: I just need a diagram of where everything goes cause mine didn't have everything that this kit gave me.

So here is were I'm at now ! I'm kinda done with the front end for now but I am a little concerned with the positive camber I have and the fact the it still pretty high. I know there's no engine or trans in it but I don't no what kind of a difference it'll make when I install them. I score a JCI engine mount kit on ebay for $200 shipped last night so I that is on it way. I gotta start saving up for a t56 or tko 500 so by next year I can drop everything in.

Its cool because I have 2 MC, one only had 1 piston with decent rubbers, the other had both pistons but one of the rubbers was kinda tweaked. So it just so happen its the same as the 1st one. So I'm good for now ! I would like to try again to see if I can use the kit from an 82-83 ZX or a 720 truck just from a different company, maybe rockauto or summit !

So I checked on Paypal today to see if I got a tracking # and I noticed they refunded my money ! So that's a NoGo too !
