  1. not a real superbird. looks like a challenger with a front end/tail of a superbird.
  2. Hmm... I'm looking for sticky street tires, guess I'm relatively limited to the 225/50/15s then. 16" wheels would open up a lot more options, but I don't want to spend the $ and wheels I want aren't available in 16" plus i already bought the 002s
  3. uhm. ok? this post bears no educational value to the suspension/wheels forum.
  4. I guess there's a reason they're called "slasher style tips"
  5. Considering that you're talking about one of my best friends, I can assure you that you aren't getting played. However, it's your call to make on the wheel and tire size and doing research.
  6. yeah, tirerack doesn't stock all makes though, for example falken. sidewall height would be 50 ratio. right now 225/50/15 is undersized as is. 225/55/15 would be ideal, but no one makes those either
  7. street performance tires, that is. right now I have yokohama es100 225/50/15, but I want to set up a staggerred pattern with wider rears (there's a reason for it... 3/4" sway bar and mid engined Z = lots of over steer) and preferably not expensive
  8. z is 0 offset. you will need to install honda adapters that convert it to 4x100 and move offset to honda offset (+40 or so) http://www.modern-motorsports.com
  9. .. half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it one word: AWESOME. Now I want to find a 1974 dodge monaco
  10. yep,. that's from the lemans krat drift meet. I was sitting in the booth right behind those wheels in the background. That's where I saw the sportmax wheels and organized the group buy
  11. Yeah, Mike built the oilpan and tranny mount early progress pics., i don't have anything recent. that was the day we designed the tranny mount and the header for the driver's side
  12. basically the guy drives a 330is and bought one of those $6 spring squishers from Kragen that compress 2 coils on the spring to lower it.
  13. report him to ebay and file a claim. get your $ back
  14. you guys should really jump on the group buy in group buy forum
  15. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=375408 ...........................................
  16. why don't you just make a profile on CARSPACE.COM ?
  17. the motor practically sits on stock crossmember, tranny has to be modified. oilpan has to be customized too. also no room for a fan, so electric fan needs to sit outside of the radiator as a puller i'll see if i can get pics
  18. ok, so here's the deal. my friends (i helped some too) built an s13 with a 5.0 out of an 89 mustang in it. it's running on its own power, and it's a drift car. here's the problem: the 2 way lsd in the s13 is 4.10 gearing. too high, and no traction with 245 tires. While traction's not an issue, the gearing is too short. So... my question is this: does anyone know if earlier 3.36/3.54 280Z r200 ring gear will work in a later r200? Or if any other differentials with lower gearing will work as a bolt in?
  19. i want to know where you find is300s for 7k
  20. It'd be easier to just get a corvette and have something faster, better stopping, and more aerodynamic
