  1. if u look close the rear fenders are cut out, still waiting for flares the widest centerline makes those is 9.5 but the beauty is that they will make it in our bolt patteren:)
  2. 17x9.5 all around, 275/40/17 rear, 255/40/17 front 5" bs all around, makes for a nice lip Front with no spacers actually cleares the fender if you flare it slightly and roll the lip The rear sticks out because of the bigger tire, a ZG flare should swallow it up, i will be getting the MSA street flare all around, and push the front wheels out some with spacers if need be to fill out the flare You will need coilovers all around, althought my fronts actually clear the strut barely if you slightly grind down the bottom cup of the strut

  4. well driving home one day i lost connection in my drivetrain, and had to get towed If i put it in gear and try to drive off, i just hear a loud metalic tapping noise. It just doesnt move I jacked it up in the air and it goes through the gears and spins the tires, seems like when theres load it lets go BUT, in the air, if i give it gas hard, i can see the rear wheel almost move out, and then come back in when i let off is this a burned up stub axle???? Visually the drivetrain seems to be intact, driveshaft, halfshafts, cv's...etc Is it the stubbies?

  8. 331whp lt1 freshly rebuilt 355 econo build stock heads, lt4 hotcam package, sanderson shorties, custom exhaust, tuned with tunercat on 91 octane, safe tune. Electric water pump, no ac/ps Installing progressive dynotune 150shot next week, and tuning. Hoping for 480whp
  9. where do people come up with these weird ideas? You can get a complete lt1 motor on ebay with ecu for a grand and make the same power I just dont get it./.....
  10. put it this way i raced a cobra last night that puts down 450rwhp, with skinies up front and drag radials in the back and we went from a second gear roll and he put about 1 car on me. He traps 120mph+ I made 330whp on my lt1 in my 240z
  11. WOW darius back from the dead, lol 12.3@112 was that on street tires? I am hoping to run solid 11's on drag radials at 330whp. My car weighed in at 2520 with gas in it too I just got a nitrous kit too im gonna start wiring up from dynotune, gonna do a 125 shot

  14. i figured its a v8 and its a completed project so id post it here zg's will be goin on soon...i was actually thinking of msa street flare in the rear, the front tires actually tuck under the stock front fender which i just rolled
  15. Ok i have an lt1 making 330whp with a q45 rear end and 6 speed and 275/45/17 tires I am getting flares for the rear and have cut out about 2" of the rear fender height. Right now i have about 2" gap between tire and fender and even though the car has some blue springs on it(i think zcarparts springs) it still squats way way way too much under acceleration and is shreading my tires, and under turning as well How stiff of a rate should i go in the back to limit my squat to about 1.5", not much more. I am not used to the z world because my eclipse has a tein coilover setup on it that came with 500lb springs up front and 340lb in the rear(FWD) So when you guys talk about max springs being 250lb, it makes me laugh, cause i guess that sounds way way way too soft for me Why do you guys use soft springs like this? Anyways, I was thinking a 300lb but am worried that it will still be too soft Im not running a rear sway bar. I will be using illuminas for shocks, or konis I would like limited squat, and i have driven stiff cars all my life so im not too worried about loosing the cadillac ride, its a fun car, not a daily driver, i dont care how stiff it is as long as its not stupid stiff The front surprisingly is much stiffer then my rear, not sure why. I can practically push down hard enough to hit the tire to the fender, which is about 3" THanks guys
  16. Well Ive had my azc brake kit on for a while, and i like them I also installed the 280zx master. Everything has been fine but recently i broke a leak inside the cab where the brake pedal is, everytime i push on it i can hear vacuum leak or whatever you wanna call it and the revs go up if i do this at idle(lt1 engine) So is my booster done? Or is there another part between the booster and pedal? Do i rebuild the booster or just buy a new reman. one?? This sux, its like having manual brakes again, lol

  18. im gonna do it guys, by the end of the year, i think if you popped the hood and had that in the z, it would be killer just havin the lt1 in my engine bay is already impressed everyone around, lol.... Even on low boost and 500whp this thing would be rediculous
  19. no clearance with the sanderson header, but i will eventually move it somewhere and use it exhuast: sanderson into 2.5" pipe, into a 3" Y near the rear diff, and 3" pipe out to a 3" oval muffler
