The s2k seats are very wide at the sliders. I think ~ 20" at the sliders. I've torn out my whole floor pan in my car so its not an issue on my car. If you have a 280z, prepare to mount them up high, or do a lot of cutting and weld

I have a large 825hp precision intercooler you might be interested in trying. It might be too big to fit your car tho.
Core is 27X10.5X3.5 I believe. 33" total width.

I'm using a large 200A solenoid battery kill setup. Its nice because I don't have to run battery cable all the way to the back of the car.
Here was I'm running:

It uses a Cole Hersee 200A soleniod PN 24143.

I realize the front is where the majority of the work is.
Is there anything wrong with raising these mounting points? I imagine that clearance would have to be adjusted between the control arm and the surround sheet metal much like you did Jon on your car.

I was under my Z playing with the suspension and was wondering if anyone had raised the lower control arm mounting points for extremely lowered Z cars in the rear? I know Terry lowered the outer mounting point on the strut tube to help level out the control arms on his Z. I'd like to see what it would be like to raise the rear diff and rear control arm inner mounts to get things back level on very lower Zs.
Picture of Jay Hitchcocks extremely lowered Z with 18" CCWs (I think he's running a 335/30-18 with a 26" overall diameter).

I'm trying to decide on a spring length for my 280z so I can order a coilover kit. I am welding in the TechnoTuningToy camber plates. I'm planning on not sectioning the struts. I'm going with 250 front / 275 rear springs.
I plan on running a 25.6" tire front and rear on the street. On the track I plan on running upto a 27" tall tire.
I was thinking I'd do a 10" spring on the front and a 8" spring on the rear for more clearance on the back.
Would I be ok with these spring lengths? Should I run a 10" rear spring?

Justin
When I went to home depot (maybe thats my big mistake). The paint lady told me that the rustoleum automotive primer was an epoxy primer. I guess its not. O well, I'll leave what I have until I'm ready to strip it all back down and get to work on the real paint job.
