  1. I'd like to see a few pictures of the body and flare work... Do you have any current exterior pics? It is looking great!
  2. Any of you guys wanna buy my VK56DE? I have it for sale... Check out the classified section
  3. Hey all, I have been searching and haven't had any luck. I am seriously considering a LS1/LS2 swap. I'm not a big fan of the T56, but will use it if forced to... I was wondering if anyone has any experience adapting the LS motor to the Z32 5 speed tranny? If you can point me in the right direction that would be great... I have 2 spare Z32 trannies laying around and I love the way they shift ect... Thanks
  4. I'd like to see more... please contact me! I am interested! http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/20/design-study-nissan-240-fairlady-z-successor/
  5. Once the car is complete (soon) we'll post up the entire build on a separate post.... There's a lot of pretty interesting elements incorporated in it... Cool stuff
  6. I think you guys will like this... We're building this in our shop
  7. Justin, Hey! Any updates on the "final" plenum design? I'm about to send my head off to be ported and flowed and I also plan to have it flowed with the completed manifold... Doing a max effort turbo motor... should be VERY interesting!!! I will share the results
  8. heh heh... the only time it's acceptable to have a hitch on a z is to pull a small trailer to the track with your race wheels on it...
  9. Well here's a COMPLETE custom job... around 800 hours in labor to custom make many of the parts, so you can do the math This is prior to the coilovers and stuff so the car was sitting high and not assembled yet, but you should get the point ... It also has different wheels now Pre paint:
  10. Well I'd buy a few hemispere's from you if that be ok? and while we're at it if you would include the other tubing I'd be happy to pay you for it as well. Is this the runner tubing that you purchased? http://www.rossmachineracing.com/175tube.html I'm wondering if there's an effective way to test for the optimal runner length? Looking at Thagards manifold from the previous bunch that he made I seem to remember the runners were 6 inches. Rick has some dyno numbers on it somewhere...
  11. ok... couple more questions... The site that is listed to purchase the hemisphere's requires a $25 minimum... The hemispheres are listed as $5 each... I can order 5 or more if people need them... Let me know and I'll wait to order them until I hear back from everyone... I don't mind shipping them if people need a few... Last question... With your flow analysis, what length runners have yieded the best results? I seem to remember that 6" runners on previous manifolds seemed to be a good "happy medium" and resulted in fairly good low end torque with good HP numbers Do we have a source for the material for the runners? Both of my manifolds will be used on turbo motors... Jason... as far as your offer on the tubing, that sounds good.... maybe we can do a swap if I order the hemispheres?
  12. I ordered the bends, and have been looking for the tubing and sheet aluminum... so far I can only find large peices or 20 foot sections of tubing... One quick question... I can visualize how all of the peices go together with the exception of the hemisphere peice.... where does that go? Couldn't we make the end by cutting a section out of a 90 degree mandrel bend?
  13. lookin great!!! Justin... do you have a good source for the 0.125" 6061 sheet metal & 3/4" 3" 11GA Aluminum tubing? I'm about to order the rest... I couldn't find that stuff on either of those 2 websites
  14. I like it!!! If you settle on a design and would like to sell the precut peices I'd take 2 sets!! I'll weld them up asap!!!
  15. Hey all, I have received my plenum bases and flanges and haven't had a chance to do much as of yet... Anyone have some pics of some finished product all assembled? If so, please post some... I'd love to see some variations in plenum and TB placement and if anyone has been more creative with the design
  16. I'm interested in one possibly 2 manifolds... Keep me posted on progress and potential delivery dates
  17. If someone is making fuel rails I'll take 2... Justin... thanks for your work on these I received my flanges and plenum bases and they look great
  18. Love it! Based on several of the comments on the nose... I wonder if a modernized version of the G nose would solve some of it? I absolutely love the rear... The side view seems just ever slightly too long... just my .02 Let's build some molds and make it happen! Count me in if you need some assistance in any way
  19. Justin, Did you get my email with my new address? I emailed it to you again a little while ago... Ken
  20. Justin... I'll take 2 rails and flanges as long as they're done for o-ring style injectors Let me know when you need the rest of the money from me... I've been waiting patiently! Ken
  21. Justin, Just wanted to get an update... Haven't been online in awhile due a job change and move... Are the peices ready? If so, please let me know my balance etc... Hope all is well Ken
  22. Pete, I have found someone who can help to build the molds... Give me a call Ken
  23. Well, you're in luck! I have the complete setup off of my car and it's for sale! Make me an offer I can't refuse! Ken
  24. Mull, Thanks very much for that! I knew after comparing both pictures that they had done a lot of re-fitting to obtain that wheel opening... Although I don't think cutting it into 8 peices was necessary either (but you never know!) Does anyone know what they did for the inner fenders?... As you may be aware, those are almost as much work as doing the skins...
